It was rainy all day yesterday and looks pretty cold outside today. I finished the white caplet in time for the tea party. The party was awesome.
Today I am working on another caplet with red sparkly yarn to wear with a black shift I have.

The only part I actually drew were the plant stems. The rest is just tracing. The flowerpot was cut from a picture of a skirt turned upside down. The picture of the skirt had lace on it so I just traced around that.

Just finished this cute "Berry Picken Basket" from a You Tube video It called for tape yarn. It was pretty easy and I love how it turned out.

I'm curious - what is Tape Yarn? Looks like it makes a great yarn basklet, too!

Today I hope to make several snap scarves to sell. I wore mine the other day and it is very comfortable.

Hi Linda
It yarn that is flat instead of string like. It is 70% polyester and 30% viscose. I used two strands at the same time for stiffness.

Nancy -

I posted the pattern in one of the MJF threads earlier this year. The link is in the UFO thread a ways down the first page on Jan 5. I altered the length to 72" because that's the length of flannel I had. I think 90" is a bit too long.

I just finished Mod Podging the second side of a train case that was painted a few years ago. His little guy will be sold during Junkfest on May 9th.
I've finally got my crafting mojo working!

The inside has compartments for "personal requisites." The snaps are in good condition. Now I've done a small project it is on to a bigger vintage suitcase.

I have been collecting hand dyed yarn minis for quite some time to make a Battenberg blanket. It is time to get them all wound into balls and get this project started.

A little rain can straighten a flower stem. A little love can change a life.

Vanessa, that train case is so cute! I bet it won't last long at the sale.

Julie, I am excited to see how your blanket turns out. It looks like a lot of fun.

Julie, your project sounds interesting to me, That yarn winder is something else I have never seen but I can see how it would make the task much easier to do. I hope you can work on your new blanket because , like others, I want to see how it turns out!
