Sorry, using my cell to post,,
The apron front is made from quilted strips and the backside is all one piece, so I can wear the backside when being messy and the pretty quilted front side for when I am channeling my inner June Clever and hostesting a Buncö luncheon..
Lololol!

Grace, you are amazingly creative. Those nice roomy pockets too. You will set the fashion at your Bunco group!

Hi,
I spend a of of time scrap booking, or journaling. Lots of glue and playing with
paper. I will take a picture soon and post the area. Between that and reading.
keeping house, taking care of my plants, and of course Richard. Although he
takes care of me too, and all the outside work. Then my kids are in and out,
which is a good thing. I wish I could sew, but except for straight mending,
which isn't all that straight its about all the sewing I do.
So I know its the end of the Month. I want to say that its been great to
be picked FARM GIRL OF THE MONTH. So many nice cards and Gifts.
With all Richards health issues, which are on going, its been a real
treat to check my mail box and find something besides a BILL.
I thank you all!!!! I just try and keep busy.

I have been gathering for my Junk Journal. I believe I am ready to start.
But, I was busy today I made and finished my July ATC and I made and finished my thread spool tassel. It was so fun to make. It felt good just to craft all day. So relaxing!

Looks like there has been a lot of crafting going on lately! With our temps soaring into triple digits, I plan to be in the craft room most of the weekend.

Grace, I love the apron! Sew creative!!! :)

Cross your fingers for me - I submitted my Sea Glass and Boho Girl quilts in the Germantown Fair Floral Hall competition, along with other crafts, baked goodies, antiques, and my giant cushaw squash. I'll find out on Saturday if they won anything.

Wonderful. Wonderful Vanessa. We're all sew proud of you. Thanks for sharing this with us.

For those of you stitchers and crafters who may not be participating in the Dog Days Junk Journal swap, mosey on over to that page anyway. I've encouraged all the swappers to post their favorite pages. They are starting to come in and they are awesome. Check them out.
