Thanks Grace!

I ave had a rough couple of days with my crochet. On Wednesday my dog chewed up one of my crochet bunny eggs. Then on Thursday while I was at the store she got into my projects and ripped apart a brand new skein of yarn and the diaper cover I had started. She is so naughty! I cried a little. So last night I started on the diaper cover again but hid it when I was done for the night. I’m going to have to be more careful.

Dear Krista, I have one of "those" kinds of doggies too . . .
Best advice I can offer is tea and sympathy.

We just got new furniture and it is naughahide. Our cats better not start clawing it or they will become permanent outdoor cats.

Linda - a spray bottle might help if you see them doing it. Unfortunately the damage on my chair has come from invisible cats cuz I never catch them doing it.

Krista - you must have posted the bunny picture while I was typing last time. I love the it!!! I'm sorry to hear about your destroyed projects.

I'm glad I'm the one that ruined my foot stool and not some invisible pets LOL!!!! I've thought about maybe bringing in one of our cats but you guys are helping me to see that they are right where they should be - outside.

I've been working on some sewing for some swaps. I can post this apron since Debbie has received it:

This was for the feedsack swap. I made a coaster and bookmark with the scraps.

LOL! I had a kitty who liked to scratch our furniture too, we used orange peels to deter him... went through allot of oranges, but would peel an orange and place the peeling on the piece of furniture we didn't want him on... apparently they don't like the smell of citrus... it worked for our fur baby years ago... for what it's worth.

Darling apron and butt tote, heather and grace!! :-)

If I ever get another p[iece of new furniture I may try the orange peel trick. At least they smell good.

My sister made me one of those jeans bags about 30 years ago. It's still going strong.

Lol Judith you make me laugh, but you are definitely right! I have learned my lesson and have been keeping my stuff put away.

That’s a very lovely apron Heather! Great job!

Grace, your purse turned out beautifully. Such a fun new accessory.

I have been keeping my hands super busy this weekend with crochet. Another friend asked me to make her sister a diaper cover set. This is my 3rd one this month. It must be the season of babies lol! I will share pictures once they are both finished.

I wanted to share my yoyo project with you. It isn't finished but I really have enjoyed working on it. It will be a pillow when I finish it.

Thank you both for your nice comments. And April you don't need to fret over making yo-yo's because there is a little do-dad that shapes your fabric and all you have to do is run needle and thread around the "mold" thingy and wala there is your little yo-yo. Easy as 1-2-3. It is made by Clover and comes in many sizes.
