Sara (saram) - I had a summer home in Oroville, but sold it in 2005 after my former husband passed away. I haven't been back there since then. Maybe someday.

Heather, that is so pretty! How about a dark blue card stock. It may bring out the snow from the window. I’m excited to see the square one! Does it give off a different look?

Grace, I can’t wait to see what you decide to work on.

I still didn’t finish my heart cross stitch but I’m pretty close. I have one more color to finish and then the black outline.

Clear and cold here. Getting ready for our trip down the mountain to "The Big City" for our first vaccine shots tomorrow. Will take my embroidery/sewing machine in for it's yearly service while there -- it'll actually be two years since the last service come May and it's certainly has lots of mileage on it. Giving myself a month off as I won't pick it up until we return March 11 for our second shots. However, I still have my older machine as well as two Featherweights. LOL.

Good for you! We are on 5 lists and no calls yet. I really should wait another 45 days to get a shot, because I had COVID, but I doubt we'll get called before then anyway.

I love my 2 Featherweights - one of them needs to go in for servicing soon.

I work at a nursing home so it was almost mandatory to receive shots. I just had the second one this weekend.

Freezing temps tonight and all week. Possible sleet tomorrow and possible snow this weekend. Continued cold next week, too. Nice weather to stay inside.

We only have rain today with some expected snow tomorrow. It’s keeping us inside as well. I’m hoping to get a few things accomplished this weekend. Having nothing to do outside will help with that! But I am definitely ready for some warmer weather.

Jean that is too funny! We are supposed to have snow 4 days out of the next 7. It never ends!
My crochet apple didn't come out so good so I scrapped it. I thought I should try something easier so I searched pinterest. Found some nice scarves and ended up making an ear warmer. I have a second ear warmer almost done. Will post pictures later.

OK,, I should feel guilty that I am not up to my knee caps in snow,, as I enjoy this lovely sunny warm weather over here in Palm Springs area... but I would be lying if I said I felt guilty! lol!
That being said,, I do limit my activities here,,, but hubby and I have been taking daily walks with Ginger,, which keeps us out of trouble..
I have some fun wool felt projects to work on, but will need to run up to Monica's Quilt store to pick up a few things to start work on them.. also, I still have not gone junktiquing yet in search of a used (cheap) sewing machine... I did see a few for sale on the social market web sites, but the prices are to high for me to justify, buying and then re-donating the machines.. so.. for now I will work on a cross stitch project I had brought.
I actually brought 3 small x-stitch projects,, so, I have no excuse to keep my hands busy, oh and I found 1 skein of cotton yarn at the bottom of my craft bag, I didn't realize I had,, 'sew' I can certainly crochet 2 more dish rags.

If I don't keep my hads busy crafting,, then I will be busy stuffing my gullot with Biscotti and chocolate! lol!

I finished my heart cross stitch over the weekend! It’s been lots of fun and I love it with my Valentines decorations. So yesterday I started on another UFO. I’m finishing up a four leaf clover garland. I ran out of one of my green yarns, so I will have to get more. But aside from that I only have one more clover to make and it will be ready to be strung together. I have to keep my pace up!

A friend of mine reached out to me and asked if I would make her soon to be born son a deer themed hat and diaper cover as well as an amigurumi deer. I started on the diaper cover last night and I love it! She wanted a dark brown instead of a light brown, but I think it's still cute. I had to put it on one of Everleigh's baby dolls just to see how it look lol! Not to bad for no pattern!

Those are so cute!
For some reason, my get-up and go has gotten up and left me but I will get back on track soon. Just tired of snow, way below zero temps, and grey skies. could be worse,,,, like Texas.

Thank you!

Grace your cross stitch is so cute! And all your yo-yos! Even though you have been gone you are still staying busy! Any plans for your yo-yos?

Kathy, I don’t blame you. Sometimes gloomy weather drags me down. Hopefully you can find your go soon!

Yesterday I finished the hat that goes with the diaper cover. I love how it turned out! So stinking cute! I'm excited to give it to her.

No I'm starting the stuffed animal.
