I have been working on another UFO. I have another character crochet kit. This one is the Wizard of Oz. And I have all the pieces for the Tin Man made I just need to get him put together! Then I need to start the Cowardly Lion.

I can hardly wait to see the Cowardly Lion with a shaggy mane. Your stitches are so neat and even.

I finished another quilt destined for the Children's Home.

It looks better close up than from a distance. I would have liked to do the background with the sky fabric but barely had enough for the boat blocks.

Judith that is such a cute quilt.
Krista your Wizard of Oz characters are so cute. I have never tried to crochet anything but afghans and scarves. Not sure I could follow the instructions well enough to crochet and animal.
Just great work everyone.

My tin man is finished. Bexten has confiscated him though lol! I'm just happy he likes him.

Judith, your quilt is so pretty! Reminds me of the beach.

Grace, my pinterest is filled with different season gnomes lol! Everytime I see one I save it and think to myself "I need to make this one for Grace!" Maybe one day when i catch up on the remaining UFOs I have, I'll make sunflower gnome a new friend.

Debbie, to be honest I'm not a big fan of these kits. The patterns always seem sloppy but I was gifted 3 many years ago when I was learning so I am devoted to making them. But the patterns are not hard to read. If you have an understanding of basic stitches you could definitely figure it out! You should give one a try sometime!

Linda, it’s a mini banner with motivational words,, unfortunately I didn’t realize
the photo is not great. I mailed it off today so I can’t retake a photo.

Today I got several UFOs at least partially done. I used Christmas squares from one of our 10" square swaps that all had snowmen on them to make a Christmas quilt for our youngest grandson. I found about 18 squares in the stack I had from 2 swaps and added a few of mine to make 20. Here's the quilt top.

A while back in a closing sale I bought some cute headbands that were made from bandanas and decided to make one for me from a bandana I had been given by a farmgirl. Here is a picture of the 3 headbands I bought and the one I made that needs bling. They are super easy to stitch up and I have trims, buttons and can print up some sayings to go on the ones I make. What do you think?

I cut out binding strips for my red and white "Broken Dishes" quilt and may get them sewn on tonight. I think I will hand stitch the binding down on this quilt. May change my mind.

I'm also making blocks to finish a Christmas table runner that my cousin cut out before she passed away. I worked on 2 of the 3 center blocks before our cruise and I'm working on the third block now. Then lots of blocks for the border.

I have also been trying to organize my "busy" room - lol! I got a lot of heavier upholstery fabric boxed up to send to my SIL for projects that she makes. I have so many UFOs on my work spaces that when I want to cut a piece of fabric I have no room without moving things around. I'm trying to sort through these projects to give me much needed work space. A messy crafting space is a sign of a creative person. I heard that and I'm sticking to it.
