I have so many eggs in my fridge right now- which means I also have so many egg cartons.
Anyway, my brainstorm was to use the egg cartons as seed starters! I know they will get a bit soggy- but if I put them on an old cookie sheet I have laying around...plus by the time they are ready to be planted hopefully the paper will be mostly disintegrated and they can go right into the garden.
Has anyone else ever tried this? I am sure that if it works it has probably been done for ages! *lol*
Alee you can plant them right in their little egg sections. They will just disintergrate. Yep, it's been around for awhile. Just make sure they are the pulp cartons. MB
don't you just love brainstorms? I hae tried this, too. ANother trick is to cut toilet paper rolls in half (or paper towel rolls in quarters or fifths), and use those as little tube pots for seedlings.
Good luck!
Now, watcha gonna do with all those eggs? Easter's a - coming...I guess the egg hunt will be at your house this year?

LOL- I don't know what I will make with all the eggs I have. I get so many with WIC. I need to start making more omletes or something.
