Someone trying to have a detailed conversation with me right after i wake up.
People who whine about their life, but don't do anything to help make it better.
Negativity
Days and Days of rain and clouds-ugh.
Blessings,

People on cel phones in the store don't bother me. That's probably because I am ONE of those people. My mom lives long distance from me now, for the first time in my LIFE, and she's also on eof my best friends. If I don't call her when I'm out and about, I might not have the chance to visit with her that day. PLUS. My cel phone is my home phone. People call me and don't know I'm in the store. I'm not going to NOT talk to them just because I'm looking for milk.
Some things that bother me:
People who think that they are the only people in the world who matter. Tend to meet these people in line at the store. Seems that they are the only ones in the world who have better things to do than stand in line, and we should all be faster.
People who assume. I think that if everyone took a few min. to stop assuming that the girl at the check out counter was just SLOW and consider that she might be having a tougher day than them, things might be a bit nicer and better.
People who don't call to say they will be late. My little sister is the worst at that.
People who judge teenagers. They are JUST kids. They are not out to get you, and they don't deserve the judgement that adults pass on them. They are people too, and if you are lucky enough to truthfully say that you NEVER were the kind of kid that got misjudged, then you got off EASY. Smile at one sometime. It's no harder than looking down your nose.
That's about it for me. I'm a pretty laid back gal. Rachel

For some reason, bumping my head makes me get grumpy instantly!!! Even if it's just a slight bump.
Sometimes I get really grumpy because the world's so vastly different now. Example, you have to follow such strict protocol about picking your children up at school. The other day I had to go get them and it was cold and snowy and I had my two youngest in the car and I had to park in the parking lot and carry both of them in to go get my older two because they couldn't just be allowed to walk outside. I understand the reasoning for it, but ai yi yi!!
Pretty shoes that never come in my size.
Runners in my hose.
Panties that bunch up and ride up!!!

Okay, this one is a past tense, but it still fits:
When my neighbor across the sidewalk (I live in a townhouse) leaves her blinking Christmas lights on ALL NIGHT, so that ALL NIGHT I see the off and on blinking of lights through my bedroom curtains while I am trying to sleep. All I can think of is a diner marquee "Eat at Joes" "Eat at Joes" "Eat at Joes" ARRGH!
Bumping my head - that's a good one!
Whiners - that's an even better one!
Too much to do and not enough time - or too much time and not enough to do. Or even worse, really wanting to do something and not having the space or supplies to do it.
People who mask their hostility and aggression behind a veil of "good manners" - there's a long story behind that one.
The list could go on, but then you would get the impression that I am an inflexible, intolerable person and really I'm not!
I've tried to find a suitable exercise video for women my age...but they haven't made one called "Buns of Putty" |
