people who talk really loud (double that if they're on the cell phone) whining, even just the generic whiny sound the worst thing -- people who drive in the passing lane 5 or more mph under the speed limit, not passing anyone, and in fact keeping other people from using the lane; you know, they go about the same speed as the person in the right hand lane and nobody can get around
I almost forgot a really big one -- cursing!
online -- when people type in all caps & they aren't shouting
Some people search for happiness; others create it.

People who are rude and hateful when I didn't do anything to deserve it! (Something going on on another site right now) When my hubby sings in the Morning. I like it quite in the morning.

Holy smokes!! Where do I start?? I'll try to keep it down to the few most important!!
Dealing with nitwits in 4 wheelers who think I can stop my 40 ton big rig on a dime.
People who act like they like me but talk behind my back (I'm quite good now on cutting people out of my life quickly when they really hurt me the first time).
A lot of my in-laws...enuf said...*sigh*
I better leave it at that otherwise I would go on and on and on and on....ad infinitum...
Happy Trails :-)

People driving WAY too fast on our dead end street (45 is NOT 20 mph) to turn around, just to make sure they're car faces the "right" direction in the am. Grr. Use your driveway!!!!!
Greed.
Waiting all month long to have a date (we haven't been out in a long time) at a new restaurant tons of people have all but commanded us to go, wait for two hours (without complaining) for a table, and then get served food that wasn't at all worth the wait, nor was the service. The hostess went home for the night before we got our first course!!! Company was good, though, so there's that.
Being tired, but not able to sleep.
Missing my morning 3 cups of coffee. I'm just not nice without it.
Other than that, I'm a fairly happy gal :)
Just think of all of the roads there are...all of the things I haven't seen....yet. |

Forgot to add...thanks to KYgurlsrbest, missing my own made coffee in the morning, not truck stop coffee. My coffee pot on my truck went kaput a day ago and I'm making do with truckstop stuff. Getting kind of cranky already!!

| Call waiting! I hate it. I called first, finish my call and then call back the person who butted in. If it's an emergency fine, but just a casual call....call them after we're done, don't hang up on me!!! |

When I feel like the maid service!
People who put others down or make them feel stupid in front of others and call it humor. I have NO time for this kind of thing.
Early phone calls before coffee.

I'll echo Jonni- we also live on a dead end DIRT road....there's NO reason why anyone needs to speed down-or really venture down our way.
It also irks me when 4-wheelers drive down on Sunday afternoons and mess up our woods and the surrounding land. Don't they have land of their own?!.
And lastly as of this past week. One berry field was plowed under by someone who wants to tend the land. It's not mine really to gripe over....but after 8 years of not even giving it a second thought....why start now?!
At least the other 2 fileds are too rough to ford. |

Being asked a question, giving an answer and then getting an arguement in return. (Can't wait until she has children!!)
People who are late or make me late.
Being talked down to.
Being put on hold forever...and forever...and forever......
Asking for help with something, being told it will get done later, and it never gets done. It's a good idea not to ask me for anything when this happens. I am quite disagreeable.
I guess that's it. Oh, except maybe rude drivers. The ones in large SUV's, on a cell phone, drinking a Coke and smoking a cigarette with children in the back jumping on the seats, pushing their way into where you are and consequently you have no place to go to get out of the way! GRRRRRRR.
I'm done now.

Anna--we also have a motorcycle shop at the top of our road--they aren't supposed to test drive, but they do--last year, some goof off popped a wheely and fell off right in front of our house. Now, if I hadn't seen this type of behavior all spring/summer long for 8 years, I would have come running out there, but he looked embarrassed enough, uprighted the cycle and drove on up the street....
GRRR.
Yes, and cell phones, too. My favorite is the girlies in Target: "what are you doing?" "I'm at Target." "What kindof shampoo should I get?"....
Just think of all of the roads there are...all of the things I haven't seen....yet. |

being asked advice and then the person goes and does the exact opposite...why did you even ask em then?
when Rob comes home and puts his dirty work shirt on a piece of furniture or on a small lump of clothes I have yet to fold
horizontal filing systems that seem to occur out of the blue
when there is no mail-it throws my day off
Rob's cat Gemini-she is truly evil, I swear it. She attacks the kids and guards doorways so you cannot get through, etc. EVIL!
They are all just petty though, so I try not to let them get to me.....

I get the most grumpy when I get off of work and I'm tired. Partly that being because I don't want to work there anymore.
When my kids ahve to say negative things to one another just to pick and argue...gets on my last nerve.
People that drive slow in the left lane like they are the only people on the road.
People that pull right out in front of you when you are going 65 and you are the only car coming. Like they couldn't wait another 15 seconds.
Rudeness.
Blessings.... Sarah

People who talk on their cell phone for all the world to hear and they are speaking about very PRIVATE issues. I really don't need to hear about someone's adultery while I am in Marshall's! I want to say..."Discretion, look it up!" It just seems to me that people who walk around with their cell phone "attached" seem to be very full of themselves and not really paying attention to how they impact everyone around them. Might just be my own little pet peeve, but don't get me started about the ones that walk around with "that thing " in their ear.... (And yes I do have a cell phone, it is in the bottom of my purse where all weird and mysterious things lurk!) Oh drat...now I'm grumpy just thinking about them!

I guess I'll chime in here, also.
I'll join the masses about the cell phones...most of you girls have said it all.
People who judge others make me really grumpy... we should only be judged by one...ever...by anybody.
I deal with grumpy people everday, professionally, so I just try not to ever add to the grumpiness...and help fix theirs. Goal in life, make at least one person smile...everyday!

Grumpy people!!! NO seriously--I can't stand down people or those who complain all the time.... People who are late and set everyone else back and then no apology or "Well I was late, take them" I HATE this at the doc's office!!! I worked as an admin. assistant for 13 years and whenever someone was late, I pushed them back. We may have lost a few clients but I think we gained the respect of the other clients. ( Unless there was some sort of believable excuse but we had chronic late clients) Doing something I think I did well at only to have someone else tell me how I could have done it better..really gets me grumpy for the rest of the day and turns me off to ever sharing again or doing that task again. California drivers!!!!

Mine are so funny compared to everyone else's.
Being interrupted when I'm in the middle of something, esp. something that I've been putting off for weeks. Esp. when I've finally managed to get motivated enough to start it. Something that I don't want to do or never wanted to do in the first place. Something that I HAVE TO DO whether or not I want to. Something that should have been done weeks ago. And now that I'm finally doing it, I've been interrupted!
Having a conversation with someone who says their piece then walks away in the middle of me giving my opinion. (You made me wait til you finished, dang it, let me have my say!)
Getting blamed for something I didn't do (thanks sis!) esp. when my sister is the guilty one and she gets off scotfree!
Dishes in the sink that are balanced on the edge of the counter and sink. You know, the ones that always end up falling onto the floor and breaking...
Having mismatched sets of dishes thanks to the gripe above...

I know this wasn't supose to be a funny post, but it sure has gotten me giggling. It reminds me of a personality class I took once and we had to list our likes and dislikes as a way of defining our personality types. Of course, I have a whole list of dislikes of my own, but reading all yours have been rather insiteful.
Gets me grumpy ...over paying for anything. ...eating bad food (which usualy translates to anything I didn't cook myself). ...people who say "That wont work." ...a certain person who sits in the truck and honks the horn when we're late for church (helping would speed things up). ...cleaing house when I could be doing so many other exciting things.

I wasn't going to post, but have to put in my two cents..... Things that make me grumpy... People that judge. People that always have been in the situation (but worse) Cronic complaining... ...and yes the asking of "How do..." then doing it their own way, as if you had said nothing. (This is my teenage daughter) The only time I will give in and carry the cell is when I am traveling and hubby demands that it goes with me, this is due to seeing others with the thing attached to their ear...urgh! Other than this....I am usually smiling...I would rather smile than cry. MJ

| My pet peeve is rude drivers - the ones that HAVE to get around you at all costs, cut in at the last minute so they don't have to wait and the ones that tailgate soooo close you can smell them! I also hate smokers (no offense to any here!), especially that stand right in front on my office or stores or anywhere I have to walk through to get where I am going. I am also glad to hear I am not the only one that likes it quiet in the morning - my hubby loves to talk and sing and play with the dogs and it drives me crazy! |

Things that make me grumpy. 1) Hunger- I get really short with people when I'm hungry. 2) Those that have self entitlement issues. I live in a high end neighborhood and my child goes to a private preschool. Plenty of self entitled nitwits there. 3) People who think that someday I can take my austic child to Las Vegas to count cards for me. (I've had several nitwits tell me that joke over the years) Those that can't or won't understand where she is coming from or what great things she is capable of doing. 4) My next door neighbors child coming over to terrorize my chickens and steals eggs. (I caught her throwing rocks at them the other day and she had a dozen eggs she set aside for herself with her own carton) She didn't ask permission to be there. I would have been happy to let her play with them but she is getting intrusive and comes over and just let's herself into the backyard. Her parents are never outside with her. 5) My DH when he asks me to do the punishment of our daughter when she's done something wrong because he dosen't have the heart to do it himself. Or to tell her no when we know it will cause a tantrum. That burns my butter the most.

This is what really ticks me off: I call the doctors office to make an appointment and the woman asks me what the problem is. I tell her. I get to the office and the nurse asks me what's the matter. I tell her. Another nurse comes in to do the temp and blood pressure and she asks me what the problem is. I tell her and then the doctor comes in and he asks me what the problem is. By then I'm so drained from repeating myself that I just want to leave and never go back!
Another thing is that I get very tired of calling a company, etc., and never, ever getting to speak to a human being! Sometimes their options don't fit my options and I get so upset that I could just spit! Okay. I feel better now. Thanks for asking, Susan |
