Have any of you read The Ruth Stout No-Work Garden Book by Ruth Stout and Richard Clemence? My copy was printed in 1971, and I found it at the thrift store. I've loved every page of her book, and I revisit it's pages every couple of years. She's got really great ideas for EASY organic gardening. What books have you read that really made things a snap for you?

That is one I would like to find..thanks for the reminder to look for it. I am sure looking forward to spring and planting!! I really love Square Foot Gardening by Mel Bartholomew, and The Mittlelieder method also.

I really like that she lives in a cold pocket, and shares a lot of her tips for growing where the experts say she shouldn't be able to... What a spunky little old lady!
