Oh Faith...yours are finished too. All I have to do is complete the package with other 'stuff.'

Me too! I've been gathering all of the little goodies and the package is just about set to go. I was going to drop it off at the Post Office tomorrow, but given that we got 15 inches of snow and I'll likely get plowed-in in the morning, well...it will go out this week sometime!

Well, the driveway was in fact plowed-in, but the weather was still nice. I took Jackson out in the backpacking backpack and he loved it. We bused to the Post Office (buses are SO much fun for a 1-year old!) and then walked home. He kicked off one of his boots on the walk so we had to backtrack a bit for it, but Mom's mitten worked as a "baby boot" in a pinch!

What I'm saying is...I sent my package today and am so excited for Kristina (a.k.a. KitchenWitch) to get it!

I am working on my second dishcloth- I ran into some issues, which have been straightened out with a visit to a more experienced knitter, and I should be able to get mine out soon! :D I'm so excited! :)

Bluewrenn, I received your package last night! Thank you! The dishcloths match perfectly. Can't wait to try researching & planting some of those seeds. I love the green apple stationary too. DH liked the seeds & the dishcloths as well. DH is mailing your package today for me. I finally found the right size container. Again thank you, thank you, thank you! Hope you enjoy your package as well.

Kelly, glad you enjoyed them. I really enjoyed putting together the package. And it will be fun to see what comes out - some of the seeds do not look like what you'd expect them to look like, so you may be surprised! LOL! But that was half the fun of these particular selections. Make sure you give the squash some extra space as they may turn out to be pumpkins! LOL! (Actually some of the squash are roaming vines too.)

Tore out my dishcloth again. Honestly, I didn't think knitting would be this hard. I picked up crocheting fairly easily. I'm gonna still try to make the deadline though!

Kelly, I got your package today... WOW!!!! What a huge package! I love everything - the lovely dishcloths, the little fairy, the mailbox flag, the basket of candy, tea and seeds ...

but my favorite? The glamour gal rubber gloves!!!! Oh my gosh! They are so awesome! Did you make them? Since I don't have a pic to show, I'll describe them... a pair of aqua rubber gloves with polka dot fabric cuffs! How cool! How so retro too! I am going to do this to ALL my rubber gloves now!

And I have to brag on the dishcloths I got in this swap - both my partners have sent such lovely dishcloths. I'm not sure I can bring myself to use them! Thanks, ladies!

Too cool! I can just picture those adorable aqua gloves now...you HAVE to use the "fashion" dishcloths to go with your "fashion" gloves! :)

Keep at it, Katrina! You'll get it just fine!! :)!

Thanks Denise! I'm glad you liked them. I have been on a notecard kick lately. Got some big stacks of scrapbook paper - not a scrapbook person but I like using the paper to make notecards.
Now, I'm into making the matching envelopes too. Found some great templates which I tweaked.

Erin I can't take the credit on the gloves other than buying them. I am glad that you like them. they are very cute if I say so myself, wish if I had thought of that myself. I know the seeds you collect are more on the veggie & rare side, so I tried to find some flowers that were unique & would do well in our dry area.

This was fun!!

Grace! (katmom)

You're so sweet. Thank you for the adorable little "extra" package that you sent off my way! Totally unnecessary, but definitely sweet and appreciated! Thank you so much.

Photo on my blog, take a look at the darling (and very springy!) dishcloth that she sent!

Omigosh, I am the luckiest Farmgirl ever! Catherine, my package came yesterday and was the perfect surprise after a long, challenging day. Work has been hellacious, I mean really knock-down, drag-out, takes-everything-you-have-to-stay-positive kind of icky. I worked from 7 AM to 8:30 PM yesterday and came home spent. You can't imagine what a joy it was to open your gift and find sooooo many incredible goodies:

Fabulous dishcloths!
Vintage buttons!
Hand-stenciled bag!
Knit necklace with incredible yarn-charm!
Yummy soap!
Bumper sticker!
Mouthwatering chocolate!
Adorable bunny with has-to-be-handknit sweater and carrot! (Carrot! Seriously!!!!!!)
Amazing scarf pattern!
Fun measuring tape!
Still more... can't speak... you get the idea, yes?!
<insert dramatic swoon here>

I came in the door feeling like poop yesterday and ended the night feeling like I have a cool friend in Minnesota with spectacular secret powers. I feel so spoiled--and I needed to! Thankyouthankyouthankyou!

I leave tomorrow on my trip, but I am back on the 12th. While I had hoped to have your items out before I left, I am bringing the last of your dishcloths with me as the yarn I first worked with was a bit too, er, ambitious for a "mere" dishcloth...

I *hate* that you are having to wait so long to get your package from me, but I trust you'll be happy when you get it--I've been collecting things for you for weeks and weeks! For now, please know that you have my sincere thanks for giving me such a generous and totally "me" bundle of wonderful! I hope to be able to return the feeling soon!

Oh, and I will post pics of all of my goodies on my blog as soon as I'm able--hopefully before I go, but we'll see... Somehow, I have to move a queen bed into the house tomorrow morning before we leave for the Bahamas.................

Be well, ladies! And thank you again, Catherine.

Live joyfully, deliberately, simply, abundantly.
