This year is my first year growing a garden and I must say every time I go outside I am amazed. I am super excited to see everything growing and impressed with how quickly they seem to change over night. So to brag a little (because these are my first ever grown veggies) I decided to share some pictures!!

Krista...that is what makes gardening so much fun. Every day is a new delight!
And there is such a sense of accomplishment that you grew this food yourself. You
know it is healthier, prettier, and just flat out better than Store bought.
Unless you buy from Farmers Markets or your grocer carries a lot of Local Produce.
So...Brag Away Girl!!! We know how you feel!!!

Love and Farmgirl Hugs,
Peggy

Bragging is always allowed when it comes to gardening. Some say it's mandatory. Beautiful veggies!

Good lookin' veggies, Krista!

I've been able to harvest kale and my first garden salsa chile pepper. Noticed today that there are some beans on my bean plants. Last year was my first year to plant the "Burgundy" beans. They're like green beans only burgundy (except I think they look more purple). I really like them, they taste wonderful and are SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much easier to pick, because you can see them. So I planted those again this year!
Leeks, parsnips, and carrots are looking good. Had to replant beets . . they were up and about an inch tall when some critter nibbled them all down to the ground. Did the same to my chard. I plant to replant chard when I can get seeds . . . local nursery sold out and waiting for the 2017 seeds.
Tomatoes have tomatoes on them and blossoms. Peppers and eggplant plants are blooming.
I think there are thrip on my lettuce so I dusted them with Captain Jack's Deadbug organic powder, which worked well last year.
So, here's hoping . . .

Thanks CJ! Your garden is sounding amazing! It's really taking off!
I also have tons of blossoms on my cucumber plants. My lettuce is looking good and big. I occasionally take a leaf when I go out, but I'm waiting a little bit longer for them to get bigger. My onions and carrots are up and growing and will be ready in the future. I do have a squash plant with 2 tiny squash starts but its struggling. Hopefully it will come around. My basil plant is huge and I'm planning on harvesting a bunch soon!
