I'm going to have to stop reading the posts from my phone. Guess when I do, I am not actually logged in and I go to post a comment and cannot. It's hard on old eyes because the screen is so small and navigation is tough when you're on a 3x5 screen and can't see where to click. . . ANYWAAAAY, the end result is I THINK I've posted a reply and forget to do so later when on the laptop because the conversation is past tense. Maybe that just goes to show my age, technology is getting more frustrating each year. But I won't complain, look at the wonderful things that are possible because of it.

Belated thanks to Linda O. / Sherry B. / & Cristy M. from CA. I have rec'd your puffies and they are all adorable!

Linda, Your envelope was damaged by the machinery but was taped up and arrived just the same. Not sure where the incident occurred and I really don't see why it got stuck as 99% of the ones rec'd in our last swap were sent exactly like yours, a #10 envelope with two squares ironed and flattened. To echo sentiments above, I guess it all depends on the post office and the clerk who handles the envelopes. ??? >>Photo attached.

Kathy, it is sad what has happened to the base with all those homes abandoned and deteriorated. Adelanto has grown though, as it used to be a 15 minute drive and now it's at least 30 minutes having to pass the new Walmart, etc.

Enjoying the day!

Is your mom ok? Nothing is more important than your family, Amy. Do not fret about the squares. I hope your mom is going to be ok.

Pls send that picture to my email, Doris. I want to show it to my postmistress. My envelopes were Hand Stamped BY her, so they should not have even gone through the machine. And it was only a regular stamp, so why it has $1.98 due, I don't know. I will send you a check. I have extra fabrics and can send them to you - did those arrive okay or damaged?

Hello fellow farmgals,
I received my squares from Kathy Beachy unharmed. The regular size envelope (not legal size) arrived from Manchester Tennessee unharmed on its way to New Mexico, with "Non Machinable" stamped on the envelope. The fabrics are adoreable, I love the barn scene especially! Thanks Kathy. Have a great day!

Hi Ladies,

I have received several squares in the mail. None of the envelopes were damaged. However, I would suggest that if you are sending yours in a standard or long envelope that simply putting a piece of copy paper around the fabric stiffens it up just enough that the envelope doesn't bend funny. It doesn't require extra postage. With the humidity in some states, the fabric does get kinda loosey goosey in the envelopes and a piece of paper helps it stay stiff. :)

Farmgirl Hugs!

Denise Ann, i hope your Mom feels better soon. I have had diverticulitis several times (had colon resection surgery finally) it's not fun poor dear. I'll be praying for her.

Linda, all the squares and their envelopes i have received came in perfect condition so far.

I received fabric from Kathleen Deem today! Loved them both! But, you know which one is so cute it reminded me of the movie "Babe". Thank you!

All of my fabric was mailed either yesterday or today. Yippee!

Marilyn, No worries, I know what you meant!! Auto correct, you have to love or hate it! Mom is doing better since she got some fluids and is on the antibiotics. Less pain and no more bleeding so that is great. I picked up my daughter after dinner and we went to visit for a bit last night and I think the visit from the granddaughter did her more good than the medication.

Marti, Thanks for the kind thoughts, diverticulitis is not fun, that is for sure. She has had several episodes over the years and I am waiting for the time she has to have a resection, hope not! She does not do well with anesthesia and post op pain medication, she gets pretty goofy. But if it helps I'm for it. I think this was pretty scary for her.

Linda, I recieved my envelop without damage. I have not opened them yet. I plan to tonight.

Thanks
Denise Ann

My mail box was a happy one today...and so am I. Today it contained envelopes from Becky, Judith and Kathleen. So many cute fabrics. Thank you ladies. These will all be fun to work with.

Three more envelopes today:
Beverly-I'm in love with the bees & flowers, and the bold chickens are beautiful too.

Beverly: the sunflowers are great! What's more farmgirl than sunflowers? I love the little awesome chicks also.

Judith: Great minds think alike, right? We both have the same farm scene, lambs, chickens, barns in squares. But, the horse & kittens was grabbed up by my daughter! She loves both. Maybe I'll have to think of something to make her using that 'special' square.

Hugs and Squishies!!

Kathy, I thought "uh oh" when I received your squares; but, I had already mailed mine. I would have substituted for you. Oh, well...I love that print anyway!lol

Today I received 3 fabric envelopes:
Darlene, your squares both remind me of my Grandpa's farm!
Thank you!

Beverly, I love both of yours too! Both are topics I love dearly! Thank you!

Becky D., those are some classy squares! Thank you! I just love the color combo!

I can't believe some of you are getting mine already! Yat!
