I wouldn't do that, Marti. Just try asking at another PO nearby and see if they charge extra. You CAN take a chance and send your envelopes through without asking for hand cancel. IF you've ironed them super well, sometimes that works through the machine with no problems. I think if it is a super fat envelope that needs hand cancel, then they can charge extra.

Yay! 4 more envelopes of fabric. 3 on Sat. and 1 today. Thank you to Sherry, Cristy, Linda and Kathy. They all arrived in great shape. No tears in the envelopes. Sherry I love the envelope you used. Perfect for this swap.

Ed and I are leaving for Michigan today or tomorrow, so I won't know what squares I am getting until I return around July 11. And it is going to be hard not to see them all! LOL!

We will miss you Linda. I am glad he has you to help with the things he must do. And, hey! You get to escape the Texas heat for three weeks...maybe you will bring us a July Norther when you return. I love July Northers because they give me hope that fall is coming... Have Fun!

Linda, where are you going in Michigan? Just wondering..
sherry , were you the one with the Farmgirl stamp on the front. If so, where did you get it. That was so cute on the front of the envelope and I liked the stamp you stamped on the back too.!!ame Post office but another person at the register. This time it cost me ,68 cents each!! hehehehehe i think their scales need to be re-adjusted for when it zero's out!!!

I received my first three envelopes yesterday from Sherry, Linda and Cristy. Sherry, your packaging is always a treat, I like the little "ID" stickers! I love all the fabrics, and the variety is amazing. Such fun! Linda, safe journey and have a great time in Michigan :)

Finally got my fabric, now to find a moment to iron and cut. Ha Ha!!
So much to do..quilt retreat in 2 days out of town.. They might get cut there!!!!

Hint Hint a Hint--- use a Long envelope. The machine EATS the small stuffed ones
--- and the post office usually returns the mail to the sender instead of the addressee..

Just because I'm curious, Sherry--did you make your envelopes? I just love the cute design. Is it a stamp?
Cristy--I know where Hesperia is! We lived at George AFB (it's since been decommissioned)-just outside of Adelanto! We were one of the last three families to leave the base before it shut down. The joke was, last one out, turn out the lights!! My 40 year old son had a chance to drive that way last year & told me just how much the base area has change.
Anyway, I am waiting (impatiently) for the rest of the squares so I can start on my "Farmgirl" quilt!!

I received three packages recently from: Linda Ollivera, Marxsen and Sherry Buck (what an awesome envelope, just love it!!)
I sent all my fabrics yesterday! This is like Christmas for me, my first fabric swap. As a fabricholic (it is addictive) I am loving this. Just like Christmas, only better!
