Does anyone have a SIMPLE bear pattern that I could stitch by hand? I would like it to be around 12- 14 inches big and have the old bear face look. Any ideas? Thanks.

I found great patterns to trace on things by doing a serch on the web. I just typed in what I wanted and found lots of site. Example Redwork or teapot embrodiery pattern.
Hope this helps.

I used to make mohair bears. There's a book sitting unused on the secretary. If you'd like to send me your address I will gladly put it in the mail to you.

Robin- That is so nice of you. I just want to make some bears as gifts and I have some different materials to make them from- mostly wool and chenille pieces of clothing/bedspreads. That is so nice of you. Checked out your website and it looks like a wondeful place.

I have a pattern called Belly-Button Bear-2 pattern pieces,
came from a Family Circle or Women's Day back in the 80's
I have made small, med and large and a bunny version from the basic pattern
If your interested, I can dig it out and copy it.
