Sorry about the double post-- a little over kill. The first one didn't post when I checked, so I rewrote, only to find out it posted after all and I couldn't delete it. Sorry.

You go Judith! I love naps, always have. Even as a little girl. Now my son and youngest granddaughter do too. A good nap and plenty of laughter can do wonders #128521;

Congratulations Christy. Hope baby and family are doing well.
Received pretty blocks from Amy today. Thank you.
Mary, you are so right about environmental issues causing so many diseases and symptoms. We can only be vigilant with what we put in or on our bodies. To many chemicals in Everything. Read labels and educate ourselves. I am highly allergic and have had an anyphlactic reaction 4 times. Not fun! I was fast tracked in the ER for are action to a face cream once. I now use coconut oil on my face!
Prayers to every sister here and families also.

What a surprise to get 5 envelopes of fabric today! Thank You to Rebecca, Amy, Doris, Marti, and Mary

They are all so lovely and different. This is going to be a fun assortment of fabrics to work with. As to the fun "pudgy envelope", love it, great description, I think mine were quite pudgy lol since I didn't realize the fabrics needed to be ironed and then put in the envelope. Mine were ironed before I cut them out and then I just folded them to fit the envelope. Just glad to see that they went through the mail OK.

BTW I should let everyone know that my fabrics were probably washed.
I usually wash fabrics as soon as I get them home and since those were on my shelf so long I'm not sure if they got washed or not.

Hadlee went down the road on the four wheeler, to get the mail. I asked if some fabric came, and the answer was yes. So she opened them. One envelope from Amy and another from Rebecca. Very pretty. Hadlee pressed all of the squares and has chosen her favorites. At least she left them here. Thanks girls, very pretty. Oh yes I finally have a repeat. Little daisies on blue.

So exciting to see all the fun fabrics...

So far I have received squares from:

Linda O. / Marilyn G. / Christy M. / Kathleen D. / Maryellen B. / Lisa B. / Beverly B. / Bev M. / Brenda W. / Darlene R. / Mary D. & Sara M.

That's a pretty great turn out already!! I'm off to check the mail now, it is quite possible that there are more lovely squares waiting for me.

Thanks for the swap and always being the sunshine in my mailbox --------<<@ ((!! HUGS !!))

Yes, it was definitely a fun mail day! Lots of pudgies in the mailbox!

So am I the only one who's curious about where "South Forty" comes from? :-)

. . . +update+ Rec'd squares from Rebecca W. & Amy C. today. WOW, we ought to be proud of ourselves, ladies. So many squares flying from all over the country in such little time. Can't wait to lay them all out and see what crazy design I can come up with.

She is Doris, from the Dallas area, currently helping care for her mom near Elm Mott, which is a small town next to Waco.

SouthForty is a southern term we use for the waaay outback, I now use it to refer to where my DH wants to park his ultra-cool ride. Originally, it meant the southern pasture of forty acres but it gets A LOT more use in the parking context these days.
