Just beautiful! Is the Karo syrup what makes them "pearlized"? I printed out the picture for next year's inspiration! Tell Rachel she's done a wonderful job! Happy New Year Susan and family!

with a happy heart

actually the karo makes the icing smooth and shiny...but the pearlized look is from luster dust...a LOVELY cookie/cake decorating powder. Comes in all colors. at the bottom of that post are some links to great places to purchase such things. Of course if you have a cake decorating supply place locally, they should have it as well.

I will tell her you thought they were pretty. She is looking foward to doing Valentine cookies next. ANd of course we will do pictures.

The cookies look great. I'm saving the recipe and I'm going to try the Artichoke Crab dip tonight!
