I have been listening to Bette Midler's Christmas CD, and enjoying it very much. I just love her and have been a fan for years and years. She does a new version of "From a Distance" and of course it is as beautiful of a song as ever. If I could post music here, I would post this song as my Holiday, and everyday song to all of you. Jane, you're a sweetie! Another good one is True Colors by Cyndi Lauper. It's like when I was a teenybopper I just "heard" the song and it's like "whatever", now I listen to the words and realize how poignant they are.
