I had some extra time this morning because the kids were so tired from being sick last night they slept in -- a rarity! So, I decided to try the "Gussied-up Pancakes" from the Farm Kitchen issue of MJF Magazine, and they were wonderful! I used pecans instead of walnuts, and mandarins for the oranges, and I think I could have eaten all of them - those little ones were just lucky the woke up in time!!!

Anyway, I just thought I'd let you all know that this recipe was YUMMY!!!

XOXO, Libbie

I'll have to try them, I think I have that issue? The one before the stitching issue right?

The gussied-up pancakes are indeed wonderful. I've made them several times, but each time I've grated an apple into the batter and omitted the nuts. My kids love them!
