I made a Gathering Apron yesterday...I call it my Laundry Day Apron because I am going to keep my clothes pins in it for hanging laundry :-) I used some Tasha Tudor printed fabric and a yard of something I had on hand...and had to embellish a little, of course!

Cute, cute apron, Carrie!! I love the Tasha Tudor fabric too. Are you a Tasha fan? I love her children' books. Take Joy as Tasha would say!

Winnie- YES!! Definitely a Tasha fan, though I have not read her children's books. I do have the three books about her and her life #128522; I dream of that lifestyle....rustic home on a mountain with my gardens and pooches!! Someday...

Carrie, two years ago, we visited Vermont and I got to go to her small museum. To see her home, you have to purchase tickets in advance. I had a friend last year who visited the home and she said the gardens are just like the beautiful photos of her life books. The museum is a small cozy space where there is a big cast iron stove and hot tea to drink while you enjoy a video about her life and philosophy. The rest of the place is full of books and other items for purchase. It was a lovely little place to enjoy some of Tasha's ambience and speak with people who knew her and her family. You can find her children's books in paperback online at Amazon.com so check it out for a few to collect. I have her Halloween one called Moonshine Pumpkins which I just love since Fall is my favorite time of the year.

Winnie, I think it's a great idea for people to post pictures of their aprons. I so enjoy seeing photos.

Annie, what a lovely snippet apron. I like that you made it reversible. Thank you for posting a photo.

Mary Jane, what a lovely gift from Carrie! I just love the crazy quilt theme! The stitching is beautiful, love the spider and web - a good luck symbol!

Karla, lucky find! Never seen aprons at my local tractor supply store!

Linda, lovely apron. I like your sunflower fabric. Perfect!

Laurie, a lovely apron also. I like that it covers the front of your shirt. Very practical!

Carrie, what a sweet looking laundry day apron. The fabric is lovely and I like that you sewed a charm on it.

I enjoyed looking at all the lovely pictures. I think I'm caught up now! Phew!

And....another!!! This is my Garden Gathering Apron :-) I finally cut into the MaryJane's Farm fabrics that I bought WAY BACK in 2009 at Farm Fair in Idaho. I think they worked perfect for this project! Can't wait to gather green beans, peas, and cherry tomatoes :-)

Carrie, you apron turned out darling!! Love that vintage MaryJane fabric too. One aspect of this new design is that the front pocket is very generous and will hold a lot of whatever you need to carry! I could see a kitten in it too!

Is everyone getting ready to Jubilee next weekend? On Friday, there's a new moon (and it's also Carol's and my b-days), Saturday is National Scrapbooking Day, and Sunday the 8th is Mothers' Day.

Are you ready? Plans?

Ours involves family, food, aprons, and campfires, oh, and lots of chocolate and bouquets of flowers. And love notes. And gratitude.

Thank you all! It's so nice to be back among my Farmgirl Sisters <3
I'm enjoying the sharing and the inspiration I get from you all.

Winnie...i will definitely check out the Tasha Tudor museum and homestead. I'm so close!!! It's a shame to not make the trip. I'm sure I won't want to leave :)
