Phewww,,, got it done,,, taking the photo was an UFO for me! lol! Here is the re-purposed man's cashmere sweater that I made into a ladies cardigain..
It was 'sew' easy peasy... I cut off the hem that was damaged, cut open the front, zig zag'd stitched the raw edges and then crochet with silky eye lash type yarn... which I found at a Thrift for $1 So over all I have about $4 total in my 'new' cashmere cardigan.

Grace, that is such a neat idea!! I'm becoming a frequent shopper of the thrift store lately. Guess I need to scope out the men's section as well!!

Beautifu, Grace, it's got a Chanel quality to it! I need some knitting help, if anyone is an experienced knitter. The sweater I'm trying to knit for my granddaughter has a lace-like pattern of diamonds. It's made with YO increases and corresponding decreases using various methods. Here's my problem, for the shoulder and sleeve shaping, you decrease on the edges, then it says to continue in the pattern. But then the pattern is all wonky and the diamonds don't line up. I'm just not experienced enough to figure it out, but I'm guess it entail doing some math -- Lord help me! I'd appreciate any pointers!

Marie to the rescue! I'm going to send her a copy of the pattern and she's going to help me figure it out! I just told her she rocks, but I think it's worth saying again . . . Marie, you rock!

Even when we were young, my sister was the best at crocheting, knitting, embroidery, and even macrame. It's in the genes!

Here is a small UFO I've been wanting to do since Thanksgiving! Well, all the kids are coming for Easter. So, I want to surprise. I haven't received any formal portraits of the kids; so I grabbed photos off FB, printed them just on paper and framed them on paper for the refrigerator. It makes me smile every time I see them! Do I get a smiley to match my own? These are my ggkids: Melody, Ballad, Brenna and Cameron.

Gracie, My emergency chocolate is stored in my project room as well! My hubby knows it's in there too, but he doesn't know exactly where it is. However, I gave him his own bag of chocolate (Dove Dark Chocolate with almonds) for Valentines Day, so he doesn't have to try to find mine CJ

Unfortunately, my emergency chocolate won't stay emergency if I know where it is. LOL!

Same here Linda! No such thing as emergency chocolate!
Thank you, Ladies! Those little gkidis are the Great Grands. I don't have room for the grands there.
Thanks, Grace, for the smiley!

You all crack me up, my chocolate nevers stay around long enough to be called anything but "yummy" - we eat it before we can hide it!
