Thanks Judith and Sherone! Ha ha close Sherone. The one here is called Wood Creations. I love it too. I always spend so much money there and walk out with way more then I can complete. Hence the many wood block UFOs!! I have had to restrain myself from going back there until I get caught up.

Finished this UFO and used it for my Beginning UFOs Merit Badge:
Sorting through LOTS and LOTS of photos I took of flowers, most of which were in muliples. Cut pieces of cardstock, got out my dot runner adhesive and glue stick and made a PILE of cards to use for whatever purpose.
I can make sets for gifting purposes as well!

Wow! 2016 is off to a fantastic start. Thank you for inspiring me to get so many tasks finished. I just realized that I have not been posting and sharing completed projects. . . So much has happened and we aren't even to Valentine's Day yet!

Here are photos of the B&W church purse mentioned waaaay above. The recipient just loved it and asked me for another in the bright neon multi shown on one of the papoose sacks.

Doris, the wee purses are so cute.

I finished an UFO that has been around for at least 30 years. I had forgotten about it until I came across it earlier this week. It's a piece of garage sale un-finished needle point ~ a rooster that's completed except for parts of his tail and no background at all. I had hung on to it all these years thinking someday I might learn to needle point but I never did. If you don't examine the rooster too closely you don't know he's tail is not all there.

Proud to say the rooster is now on one of my throw pillows. The pillow is all roses and I like the look of roosters and roses together. With a little plaid fabric added around the edges of the needlepoint material and 4 buttons it turned out pretty good. I don't post pictures so I hope you get an idea of what it looks like.

Sara,
I HAD an unfinished needle point project many years ago that never got finished. I found needlepoint to be time consuming and tedious, but I did intend to finish this one. However, when our house burned down in July 1994 it went up in flames too! Haven't tried needlepoint since.
Good for you!

I've "unearthed" a couple projects that I'm going to finish for the intermediate and expert UFOs merit badges. It'll be a while as the intermediate requires doing it one project to be done with a friend, the expert requires time investment of 30 hr. Both are doable with these projects, but I have to wait until I go to Phoenix in a month to work on one with a friend!

I have several projects I can use for each level of the UFO Merit Badge. And I can quilt with friends often.

All this talk of old projects got me to thinking. . . I went on a hunt and sure enough I have some that have been hanging around here for waaaaaay too long! I will post some photos tomorrow as the lighting is so much better than using a flash at this late hour. Needless to say, I WILL be finishing these and getting them out to the intended parties and for those that had no one in particular in mind, those will find "new" homes to go to. The whole point of crafting was to share with others, not to have them stowed away in bins fading or rotting.

Doris... so true! Keeping them stashed away dose them no justice!
I too need to start going through bins of stashed craft projects.

As promised here are photos of two old projects that I found that should not be in my house. One is obviously for my father and the other is for a little girl I used to babysit when she was a baby. Needless to say, she is not a child any longer and this can now be gifted to a lovely young woman. Better late than never, I suppose.

Doris, I agree. I am afraid to go on a hunt. I am afraid I will find so many unfinished projects that I have completely forgotten about. Your church purses are so cute!

Your photo cards are very pretty, CJ. I like this idea as a use for old photos.

Thanks Krista, on your compliment on my cards. Photography is a hobby and I've taken a LOT of really nice flower photos. In the process of going through those photos I also weeded out a lot of other photos that just got thrown in the trash.

Krist,
I have a Shuttefly account and I just ordered multiples of the prints because I knew they would get used. From time to time there would be a special offer, like 100 prints for a "smokin' deal" price, etc.

CJ,
Just last week I got an email with a great deal on 100 prints from Shutterfly! How funny. I have never used them before but figured it was worth a try. Glad to hear someone uses them. I think I will get my photos ordered now then.

Krista,
I like Shutterfly and their products! They make great photobooks too! I had one made for the first tent glamping adventure my daughter and I had in 2012 and our road trip/glamping trip in 2013.
Enjoy!

Sara,
Thank you! I had to do some ripping which I hate, but is part of the process I suppose. I like how it turned out. I think when its finished I might hang it above my bed until I find a picture I like.
