o.k. .. fair warnin' here gurlfrenz .. you might not want to read on .. but it is almost 3 a.m. .. i have had a long day and got to giggling about an 'event' that happened earlier in the day.

do any of you gurlz wear those little camisole thingies .. with skinny ELASTIC straps rather than tie yourself up in a tight bra?

o.k. .. this is your second chance to not read further if you don't want to read of the trials and tribulations of my 'ta's' today!

well, anyhoo .. if you are still with me .. here's the 'story of it'. i was hauling furniture up and down a skinny flight of stairs to my new little shoppe in Bardstown (Crows in the Attic). i'm pushin' and shovin' stuff from corner to corner .. reaching high and low .. hammerin' nails in the wall to hang treasures on .. running back and forth to the car .. when low and behold .. i became about strangled to death .. i was in the middle of the shoppe with lotsa' customers (today was our town's shoppes christmas celebration) .. but had to check down the neck of my shirt to see what in tarnation was 'strangulatin' me!

and .. well .. without gittin' x-rated about the site i beheld .. let's jus' say that i 'bout fell to the floor laffin' when i saw that part of my anatomy was twisted and tied up in a strap .. and gawd only knows where t'other one was. but my first clue was when my partner's husband said it looked like i had grown a 'goiter'.

o.k. .. sorry gurlfrenz .. guess i better hit the bed .. will probably re-read this tomorrow morning and delete it when i come to my senses!

but this stuff is what real life is made up of! xoxo

Oh my gosh!
I am glad that you posted this...with the title I was thinking...the only thing I know that are called "ta-ta's" are ___ and how can you get them tangled?! But you did! LOL...Before my mom had her "real" prosthetic after a mastectomy, she had just a bit of fluffiness to fill the side out...and every so often it would "wander", and as humor helps get through some of the very serious events in life sometimes we would look over at her, and let her know that...ummm, mom, you're a bit high over there! and we would laugh! Thankfully it has been 13 blessed years ago, and she is going strong, she grew up on a farm! :-)
Good luck Frannie in keeping yourself in line!

jane .. i'm so very happy your sweet momma came through her ordeal and stronger for it! and oh my yessss .. humor is probably one of the most important traits we as humans can have i believe. it often 'gets us through the night' .. and surely puts a 'heavy' situation into perspective sometimes. (not to mention makes us a fun person to be around!) i just love these stretchy little tops .. but methinks perhaps i should 'take up' those elastic shoulder bands so the 'tops' don't wander too far! xo

Great story Frannie! Does a day go by without something interesting happening to you?! You're a hoot and I love it! Well, sad to say, my last white bra died. Suddenly, I felt that dreaded poking of wire-in-boob. So, I wore my hot pink bra which could totally be seen through my shirt! But all is well now. Went to Walmart and got some comfy bras for, get this, $7.88 each!! Never again will I buy an overpriced bra! Like my $40 Victoria's Secret bra that is falling apart. I'm pretty sure their seamless technology is glue or some other adhesive binding because where the strap is attached is pulling away from the bra and pokes me something awful! I tried to fix it, but I guess it's anti-seam. Too tough to get a needle through it. Ok, enough of my boobling, I mean, babbling! Ta ta for now!

laura .. ya'll haven't even heard the one about when i was travelling on that windy back country road eating a sandwich . and i ate 3/4 of the paperwrapper it was in .. and didn't even know it at the time! will regale you with the 'whole story' soon! thought i'd have a car accident when i realized what i'd done!

i too, visited victoria's secret .. and they had an 'authorized fitter' there (WHAT is an authorized fitter .. anyhoo?) well, when she measured me and told me i was a size
34 "F" .. and needed a special order $60. bra .. i never went back! i DID tell her i'd heard of double and triple d's .. but what happened to "E"?

Thanks for the great laugh so early in the morning!! My family is always wondering what I'm laughing about when I'm on the computer. There's usually a pretty good chuckle to share with farmgirls ; ) I'm sure the men didn't mind your little problem at all. What a sight!!

LOL!!!!!!! what a good laugh. Your so funny Frannie! The "sisters" were duking it out ,eh?

Doglady, my family always wonders what I am laughing at too when I am on here. It's either my sister or all of the farmgirls that get me going into tears laughing.
