I was curious what everyone's Signature Recipe is that you are know for... the one that your family expects you to make because it is soooo good? Please include the recipe with your posting. Thank You.

Mine is the Club Cracker No Bake Chocolate Bar. I have been making it for about 25 years now. My whole family just loves it. I received the recipe from a wonderful older, retired farm gal that I had been visiting. Here it is.... http://www.best-ever-cookie-collection.com/club-cracker-no-bake-cookie-bars.html

I hope you ladies enjoy it.

My signature recipe is homemade mac and cheese. Nothing to fancy but my family is always asking me to make it! I have been making my homemade mac and cheese since I was in high school so it’s a fairly simple recipe which is nice!

Julie, sure I'll share. They're in my head, so I'll need to take some time to write them down. But, I'll post the recipes here.

My family and friends love this one: Russian Carrot Salad. Here's the official recipe, but I usually just throw it together according to looks (balance) and taste, you know the story:)

7 carrots, grated
4 cloves garlic
1/4 c fresh parsley, chopped (I use dried, no problem, if I don't have fresh)
1 1/2 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp honey
1/4 c raisins
1 Tbsp nutritional yeast (optional)

Enjoy!

Blessings to you on your life's journey.

Julie,
Every easter I make a fruit salad, my nieces request this all the time and its too simple.. Also baked artichoke dip, I have to bring it to work for pot lucks, another super easy recipe.

Fruit salad:
1 can fruit cocktail (Drained),
1 can tropical fruit salad, (drained)
1 bunch of grapes halved,
2 apples chopped (I use gala or fuji),
1-2 bananas sliced,
sliced strawberries

Mix 1 box instant vanilla pudding with a 12 ounce container cool whip, add the fruit and chill. I never said this was healthy, but Its just a couple of times a year..

Artichoke dip
1 can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
1 clove of garlic minced
1 cup mayo (not miracle whip)
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella
Mix and bake at 325 degrees until gold and bubbly
Also not healthy, but I serve this with crackers, or sliced baguette, also could serve with carrot sticks or celery.

Alise, your Russian Carrot Salad sounds good. I also noticed that you are from Wisconsin.. yeah! Care to share where? It would be nice to get together with other Farmgirls.

Denise, I believe I am going to try making your Artichoke dip for Thanksgiving.

Thank You ladies for sharing!
