I'm thinking that once we're doing outside spring yard/garden work there might be less coloring time. We'll see, however!
Who knows, it might be just the ticket for relaxing in the evening after digging around outside.

Peggy the two pages I sent in the swap that you colored turned out very nice! I've been way too busy to color this week but I'm hoping to get started on a page from the book you sent me this weekend. Wish I had more spare time for "fun" stuff!

Cheers! ~ Marilyn

I have been working, bit by bit, on the page Mary sent me. Hope to finish soon. We've finally gotten nicer, warmer weather and I plan to go start working on cleaning out my flower beds while I have a chance. Sooooo, coloring may be put on the back burner for a bit. We'll see!

This is one of the pictures from the Bodelian Librare coloring pages. The little bits in the background were challenging, because I couldn't tell what they were.

I really learned alot from this and I think I am going to get me a Dream Scapes too!
I just got a new pencil sharpner from Amazon. It's Brand name is KUM and it has four sharpening sides. One is for Automatic 2M and has a flat top and a long point and it says it "first sharpens wood, then sharpens the lead"
It is made in Germany, and it cost me 8.00, which is a lot for me to spend on a sharpener. We shall see. It also has two smaller blades on either side that I think makes the point even sharper.
Jerry's Artarama sells them on line for less I think.

Thanks girls!
I'm thinking about giving Mr. Fox to my son for his room. (He is 42 yrs. old with Down Syndrome, lives in a host home with a 24/7 caregiver and has his own room).

The "cherubs" in my picture look like bald, grouchy old men! I guess they didn't think little babies were angels.

OMG ! I didn't realize this was here. I love this because I am crazy about coloring books. I only found out about them not long ago. And my sweet farmsisters are also lovers of them . That just makes it so much better. It relaxes me.

Yup, I'm sure Jeremy will love Mr. Fox!

I haven't started a new page yet, haven't decided which one to start. Too much stuff going on with doing some outside work, etc.

Oh CJ, I think Jeremy is going to love Mr. Woodland Fox! And Vanessa I really love the colors on your Bodelian Librare design.

I had a few minutes to color earlier tonight. I found an old set of Pentel markers I've had for years. Some of them worked and some didn't, so I started this page in the Birds and Blooms book as a way to test colors in small areas. It turned out kinda funky, but hey it was fun and relaxing which is the whole point, right? I even ad-libbed a few leaves and added my favorite yellow bird at the top....it just didn't seem complete without my beloved childhood rendition of my pet canary Pipy.

Cheers! ~ Marilyn
