I have started to read the book required for the What's Your Beef badge. Once that is finished I will be able to apply for all 3 levels of the badge.

Can you ask for more than one level at a time? I thought each level had to be requested separately.

They do have to be requested separately and you have to earn the beginner first. Sometimes though when working on them something takes longer (like reading a book) and the advanced gets finished first.

Yes exactly what Heather said. The books are what take me the longest, but I will finish all the tasks required for the first badge and then start the second set of tasks.
Way to go Heather on finishing the book! Hopefully you get time soon to apply for them.

Krista I look forward to seeing your flag when you finish. I may have missed it, is this macrame?

Here are my finished 4 Watercolors for my Intermediate Make it Pretty Badge. I have found that I need to relax and not stress over my art and I need lots of help with shading and blending. Next is a painting with oils for my expert badge, now that’s a challenge.

I love your pictures, Debbie, especially the chicken. Some friends of ours have a gorgeous oil painting of a rooster that they have up on display in their barn. It looks wonderful there. It's hung really high so no animals can get at it. I'll be looking forward to seeing your oil paintings. I'm looking forward to getting back to working on badges once I'm finished a big sock spinning project.

I read a wonderful book titled Grandma Gatewood Walks. It is the story of Emma Gatewood. She walked the Appalachian Trail start to finish from May-September. Here are five things I learned about her. 1.Emma Gatewood was the first female that walked the Appalachian Trail. 2. She was 67 the first time she walked the trail. 3. She walked the trail 2 more times, once more at the age of 69, another walk through. 4.She also walked the 2,000 mile Oregon Trail. 5. She was the mother of 11 children and after 33 years of marriage, she divorced her horribly abusive husband.
