Save it in another place to avoid losing the work again.

Here is my finished apron. Pattern from MaryJane's Ideabook. I made it a little wider and the ties a little longer. I like how you put your hands in the pocket from the sides instead of the top.

Andrea, that turned out beautiful!
Sara, good luck with the rest of your story. Keep us posted on how it goes. I also received my new canning badge paper. I already put it in the binder.

Andrea, I agree with everyone, your apron is lovely. Is it for yourself or for a gift?
Krista, I didn't realize there was a canning badge. I'll have to check that out. I've got a couple more done that I just need to write up but we are in the midst of painting the exterior of our house. Is there a badge for that? ;)

Jill, the apron is for me. I will be working on the next levels of the badge so I will be making one for a gift soon. I will probably make 2 for gifts so I don't have to choose between the 2 people I'm thinking will appreciate it.

Jill, yes check it out! Congratulations on finishing more badges. Which ones have you finished? I don’t envy you right now lol. Painting a house is not fun and it’s a lot of work. Good luck with your house painting and hopefully you will be done soon.
I am feeling a little bummed lately. I have been wanting to work on my cross stitch, but so many other projects have been requiring my attention first. I been able to sneak in a few stitches here and there but not much. The days just keep flying on by.

I'm still working on Reading, 'Riting and 'Rhythmatic. I'm reading "Songs of the Sage" poetry by Curley Fletcher. Someone recommended cowboy poetry (I'm sorry, but I don't remember who) which I'm quite enjoying. Thank you for the recommendation. I've been super busy lately with 3 adult kids moving back into the house, which has meant reorganizing the entire house. I've been cleaning out the attic of 20+ years worth of stuff saved for some future want. I'm repainting and putting in cupboards in order to move my fibre studio and storage up there. In the meantime, there are boxes everywhere. Hopefully another week will see it done. Thanks for checking on us Krista. :)

I haven’t been able to get much of my cross stitching done lately and I haven’t started any new badges because I need more things finished before starting anything else. This time of year always tends to be more crazy and I run out of hours in the day. Good luck with all your badges Sara. Hopefully you can finish some soon. Jill you have been very busy. I hope things can be back to normal for you shortly.

Cross stitching picture update! It’s going slower than I had hoped. I need it finished before Christmas. This is the bears front leg. I’m starting to move towards the shoulder and towards the head.
I am putting my toe in the water and I am beginning with Homemade Christmas. I have been planning to do this for a long time so when I saw this badge I knew it was "the" time to begin. Kathy

Krista, it's coming along nicely! Just wait..you'll get to a point where it goes a lot quicker! Kathy, you will have fun doing that badge! It was one of my favorite! Now's the time to start working towards Christmas.

Kathy, I’m hoping to do the Homemade Christmas Badge next year. It been on my list for awhile I just struggle getting around to completing the whole thing.
Thank you Debbie. I’m loving the lighter colors in it now. Them seem a little easier to see.

I'm starting to see the shape of the Bears head now! I folded the paper and gave each section a deadline. Each one is a week time frame so that I will have it finished by the end of November. So far I'm about halfway through the first section. I think I will finish on time.

I have been working on a dish drainer quilt. I used an attractive towel, folded it in half and measured the width of my counter space where it will be placed. I cut the towel so that it would fit, pinned it up and will sew it on three sides.
I will next free form quilt it around the design. I'm going to love this.
