marcia- What did you DIL think of knitting? It's so awesome to be able to pass things on such as knitting to our family. I wish I had a daughter to share these things with. Actually my 18 year old son has done a little knitting and my 8 year old son wants to learn, but gets a little overwhelmed with it. Maybe some day i can teach my DIL or my grandaughter if I have one.

Looking forward to meeting you in March!!

Blessings,

Missy

She loved it!

Actually in the last 5 years both of my daughters and my DIL have learned to quilt and knit. I think two of them learned to crochet too but not from me. They're all on their second quilt now. My younger son-and youngest child-made a quilt for himself when he was 11 or 12. He's 17 and it's still on his bed.

Best of all is my two year old grand daughter, Emma. She sits beside me and pretends to quilt.

Hello Swappers!

I forgot to mention in my earlier emails to each of you that you are NOT giving to the same person from whom you are receiving. Does that make sense? We had an odd number of swappers which means that...

A gives to B
B gives to C
C gives to A

My dear husband, Dan, drew names out of a hat this morning for each of you so everyone was randomly selected.

If that is unclear or if I've left something else out (like you didn't get an email with your pal's info or got two emails or something...), please let me know!

Otherwise, let the swapping begin!

Catherine

p.s. Ooh, one more thing: once the packages start arriving, it would be a lot of fun to see photos of the goodies on the MJF site. Please share with everyone so we can all OOH and AAH together!

Sigh. Yahoo is so frustrating. Six of my emails to some of you Swappers were just returned to me. I will re-send through Gmail. (ARGH!)

To clarify - since the A to B to C thing was confusing to some - I just meant that you are not swapping with the same person. You give to one person and then you receive from another. We had 21 Swappers so we couldn't just pair up. Does that make more sense?

I will send out those six emails in just a bit this morning so you all can get started shopping for your sock yarn and goodies for your Pal!

Let me know if there are other questions or problems and HAVE FUN!

I'm re-sending the ones that bounced back to me, but it would be a great help if Swappers could do a quick post here to let me know if they received their pal's info via email. If not, do let me know! Thanks!
