Yes, I got the box. It is full of wonderful stuff. I wanted to take more but had to be realistic.
I did find some nice Christmas paper and stickers, alphabet stickers, a green fabric scrap, ribbon, bias tape, elastic, sequins, gems and beads. I also grabbed the vintage doily which I may try to reverse engineer.
I will not have funds to send the box out until next Wednesday. Meanwhile I will be filling up the empty space.

I had the box packed for a long time and forgot a lot of what was in it.
How do you reverse engineer, is that like reverse glass painting?
Well let us know when your sending it and get a tracking number, I have had trouble with the Post office losing packages before.

Reverse engineering is basically taking something apart to see how it was put together. For this doily, I will analyze it with several different sized magnifying glasses to recreate the pattern.

Darlene and all you other Farm girls, I picked the box up at the post office today. It is huge. I have not looked, ( I wonder what is in there?????)inside yet, because it is going to freeze tonight and I had to get my chickens all comfy and my plants into a safe place. I just came inside and after a shower and supper I will get it open. I am excited and can hardly wait.

Darlene, I went through the stuffed box and took a few things out and put a few things in. Wow it is one fat box. There was a class ring in a bag of beads.I took it out. It is a boys ring, and says David Wilson on one side above USA and an American flag. There is something else below the flag. On the other side it has RB-33.I assume that means running back #33. That is above a football helmet, and below the helmet is the number 15. The stone is a pretty aqua blue, smooth on the surface and faceted to sparkle, above the stone it says AUSTIN, and below the stone it says HIGH. There are no marks inside the ring, it is smooth. Do you think it was there by mistake? I can't imagine that some one would not want it. Could it have been there since last spring or did it just get in there recently?
I will hold on to it and hope someone misses it, contacts me and I can mail it to them.
I will mail the box on Monday morning to the next farmgirl:Mary in Minnesota.

Marilyn, I don't remember putting it in but some was from other stuff and so if anyone put it in it would be Marie or Amy. Do you Amy or Marie remember that ring? It it is important please let her know otherwise it is your ring, if you want it. It is a fat large box but was the same price as the regular large size flat rate, It supposed to be a game box so it holds a lot of stuff.

That class ring is a recent addition. I haven't seen it in the box before this. I thought about taking it but I couldn't think of a use for it. I figured that an experienced jeweler could use it for something. I would suggest to Marilyn to check out Austin High on the internet to see if David Wilson is or was a student there. No doubt there are pictures of the football team with captions. It seems as if this gentleman was born in the month of March, the stone may be an aquamarine. I would assume he has graduated because class rings are usually purchased at the end of the senior year. The number 15 is puzzling. On a ring of this type has the year of graduation on it. This is an intriguing puzzle.

Hey ladies,
I did some research and there is a David Wilson who was a football coach and now director of personnel for the Tampa Bay Storm football team
He did play high school football (did not specify Austin) coached with Jackie Sherill at Mississippi State. He is also an Air Force Vietnam veteran and his wife is from Alabama. Maybe before this swap the box well could it have went to Florida? I hope this helps some.

Darlene, the box is in the mail. It cost more to mail it from Texas, but it is on its way.
Also, Callene told me in an email last night that she is going to get out of the traveling craft box swap because of being sick and not enough money. You may want to get a hold of her to be sure. It should arrive on Wednesday. The tracking # is:
