Already thinking Spring!!
For this swap we will fashion a brooch in the shape of an Easter Egg that we can wear on our coats or tops. You may cut the backing from felt or canvas like material and glue buttons on the front. You may make it all one color or make designs on the egg. The length of the egg should be no longer than 2 1/2 inches long and about 2 inches wide at the widest point.
Just a simple egg shape but it must have a pin on the back. You could use the pin on your purse or your Easter basket.

Dear Billie, I received the lovely, delicate Easter Egg pin you made for me! It is absolutely beautiful!! So soft and sweet with small pale green flowers that are embroidered and tiny pastel beads sewn around the top of the cream colored egg. So lovely!! Thank you for the sweet swap. Dear Beth, I received your pin the other day but I was away from wifi for a bit. Beth sent a lovely pin made with a wooden egg shape. On it she glued buttons of two different colors in a disign with a purple vintage glass button in the center. I really liked the fact that she put her name the date and the swap on the back so that I can always remember who made this and when. She also packed up a really nice little box of tucks with it. So much fun opening and looking through.

Hi RoDonna, I'm sorry it took so long for me to post about the lovely pin you sent! It's the loveliest shade of purple felt, accented with ribbons in spring green and tangerine. The colors are so beautiful together, it's like spring flowers, and it will be beautiful on my coat on Easter morning! Thank you for such a sweet Easter treat!
