We all know about Lehman's as a favorite catalog. And we know about Gaiam for home friendly organic products. I recently read an article about a new catalog that is available. Here is the link to the article that explains it, and why - :http://www.thetimesonline.com/articles/2005/04/24/features/homefront/32c78db569fb094a86256fe1001bf6a2.txt

It's called Viva Terra and here is the online link to their catalog:

It's nice to know there is a source for eco-friendly and recycled products to enhance our lives and for gift giving. There are some affordable products as well as higher end products in their catalog.

So, do any of you have catalogs to recommend to the farmgirls? Please let us know and tell us why you really enjoy them and what they offer.

Thanks Clare for the recommendation! This is not a catalog, but I have tried one of the products. A sheet spray called "Beach Days" was given to me as a gift. I loved it! The company was started by a homemaker in her home 10 years ago. She offers some interesting products... http://www.goodhome.com/

I will contribute www.campmor.com. It is a great catalog for all kinds of camping gear and there is such a selection that the prices are varied enough for everyone's wallet! They have extremely good sales on all kinds of things and you can't beat the kids stuff. My husband and son have both gotten Columbia parkas from here on sale and they are warm and wear like iron.

with a happy heart

I am on some interesting catalog mailing lists! Tonight's mail held one called collectionsetc.com, where everything is priced at $14.99. I just have to share a few items that tickled my fancy!

In the vintage bicycle topic I was lamenting not being able to find a vintage bike that I could afford. Here are two that are within my budget :

These are the cutest laundry day curtains!!!

(See if the "larger view" button works for you.) The valance says: "This is the way we wash our clothes so early in the morning!"

And what a cute mural for the nostalgic kitchen:

Now I have to contemplate if I want to splurge on myself or not!

Thanks for the great suggestions Clare! I clicked on the bicycle link thinking you had found a bike I too could afford and saw those cute bikes and almost fell out of my chair with laughter. I think I might be tooo big!
