A very Scottish gnome. He can lead the way to your gnome garden.

That gnome garden is great! You're lucky Minnesota is a ways away, giggle. Can't wait to see it with the plants in. Grace, you're lucky to have so much space.

Has anyone thought of making aprons and other "textiles" for the fairy gardens out of that fancy duck tape? I am sitting here watching old reruns of Project Runway with my oldest son... season 11 (Teams) and he wanted to watch the duck tape prom dress challenge... just came to me... if you can make a dress, a tie or a wallet... why not an apron?

Rebecca, that's a great idea! It'll be waterproof too! I remember that episode....I'm sure we can make amazing aprons out of duct tape! :)

My non-fairy garden. lol I add whimsical statues and ornaments that I've been given. The teacup was a gift from my farm friend Karla. Another, farm girl from Florida.

I don't know how, but I am just seeing this now! I love this idea, as a an activity for my farmgirl chapter. We can make little fairy villages! Great summer activity. Love "his royal dudeness". :)

Cj, see the Flamingos in this one? lol!

Oh How I LOVE the water feature in that one photo. Gives me an idea what to do with my gourds! I can't wait to go shopping at the floral gardens! Whoo-hoo!

yep, a 'water' scene would be so sweet,,, I could see putting a little 'faux frog' in the water so that just his head peeks above the water... oh so many fun ideas and a great way to get a little wee garden fix, during the dreary weather... They kind of remind me of the Terrirum fad back in the late '70's.... and so perfect for inside the house as well as outside.

I found a pot to use for my fairy garden. It was actually sitting near a chair I have in my "Aspen Arbor" under a spruce tree. My hubby and I were eating lunch out there the other day, I spotting it, having forgotten it was there. I said to my hubby, "well, there's a pot I can use for my fairy garde" . . . or for my gnome garden, using my little gnome. We'll see what happens! CJ

All this fairy garden talk has gotten me thinking about sprucing up my two fairy gardens or maybe making a third. We just tore up a flower bed by our front porch that would make a great fairy garden. I love the miniature garden plants so my two fairy gardens come in for the winter as Montana may just freeze the visiting fairies and the plants.
