I really enjoy all your ideas - but where oh where do you find the time to make all these things? Banners, aprons, and flags I can do. Fairy gardens and other outdoor things take me more time. LOL!

Awwwwwwwwww I have always wanted to make one, I have a 30 year collection of Minitures. I am sure I can use some and make some!

Mary Jane, that trailer is Stinkin Cute!

Grace, Love your Gnomes!! I painted ceramics in the 1970's and I painted so many of those! I painted for the shop I took classes at for people who ordered them but wanted them already painted. I painted them all Summer, of 1977 and never got one for myself! LOL!!

Love that duct tape trailer. I will get a terra cotta dish to use tomorrow for the base. Here's the trailer birdhouse that I am going to use as my focal point. Last year they were sold at Dollar General.

They are neat as just birdhouses, too. Nice to hang outside a glamper. One friend has added curtains and lights to hers. LOL!

I remember the gardens were at the WallyWorld here last year. I am glad to see they are bringing them back. I thought I saw some neat stuff at Micheals Craft store last week. I can't wait for better weather here so I can get my hands in the dirt! My local florist is having a free herbal class, Just might make my jubilee mini garden with herbs! Hey if you guys want to make mini gazing balls for your fairy gardens, you take a marble and glue it to the top of a wooden golf tee, (paint the tee or not)! Easy, cheap, and fun!

I've decided the pot I discovered in my aspen arbor is more suited for my gnome garden . . it's more rustic in appearance . . . "planted" an interested geode in it today. It'll be perfect for my little gnome, but I need to go find some plants for it too.

I'll have to find a more "enchanting" container for my fairy garden and appropriate plants as well! Whatever I do, I still won't be able to leave them outside at night . . . still chance of frost/freeze!

Well, I just came from our favorite nursery/greenhouse. I bought rosemary, English thyme and spicy basil for the gnome to take care of in his little garden. Got pansies in mixed colors and purple calbrachoa for my fairy garden to tend to in hers! But, I have to let them get used to being outdoors before I put them in pots as they have been in the greenhouse. I can do that in a few days . . and will have to bring in at night to protect from chilly nights and possible frosts.

My Walmart had none of those items Kat found - they had one small gnome and that was it. I purchased 2 large plastic plant saucers for the bases (I am going to have my grandsons make one for their mother for Mother's Day), and got 2 gnomes (1 for each) for the trailer/gardens. I got bags of small/medium stones and green spagnum-type moss at Dollar Tree. I will write inspirational words (Hope, Love, Harmony, Peace, etc. on the larger stones for the mini gardens.

Linda, do you have a 'Dollar' type store near by? sometimes in their 'kids toy section, you can find miniature furniture and itty bitty Tea sets.. perfect for a Fairy tea party...
Also, you can go on-line at wal mart.com,, and shop and have the items delivered at your nearest wal mart for no shipping fee if it is sent to the store and you pick it up there.

Have dun with your FAiry garden...

Thanks, Kat. I have lots of dollar stores. I will look again this week. I did find some mini seed packets, bird house, bells, birds, etc. at an estate sale today. It is fun looking for things.

Farmgirl's, also try your local nurseries for mini-garden stuff.in minnesota, those items are hot and nurseries are having classes in "fairy"gardens. Sometimes the stuff is pricey but it will give you ideas. You might want to waterproof spray your items so they won't be destroyed by rain. Don't forget Mimi banners etc.

I am going to make a mini JUBILEE banner for my mini garden. And mine will be an indoor garden. My chickens would destroy a mini garden outside. LOL!
