You should have mother and daughter fairies CJ. That would be really great. Be sure and take pictures. We just had 6 inches of snow so my pictures will have to wait until the weather is better.
I can't build mine yet as I'm not home. Have been visiting my daughter in the Phoenix area for the past week. I'll be going home on Saturday, however, it's too cold at my house yet for outdoor planting. So, we'll see how it all works out. CJ

I may make two little mini gardens, one for my gnome and one for my fairy. I was also able to pick up a package that had two little "Welcome" signs in it. One was actually a sign post and the other is a rock with "Welcome" written on it. I think I'll use the sign with the fairy and the rock with the gnome. CJ

haha! Cj, so many fun ideas... and don't forget to add a wee bit-o-bling.. drop a few rhinestones here & there in your fairy garden, (for that fairy dust effect... I found some left over 1/2 marbles, the clear almost flat ones for floral displays (found at $1 store) they are irredecent blue/green/purple, so I think I will create a 'brook' in my fairy garden... and I think I will look through my silk floral stash for some uber small flowers to poke into the watering can... oh so many fun ideas,,,,,

Grace, gotta love the Pink Girls. You don't have to live in Florida or own a trailer to have them. I got a pair who stick their beaks through the chain-link fence in front of my Yellow Rose Cottage.
Me at 40 would not recognize me at 73 and my fondness for garden/yard 'art'.

Lord put your arm around my shoulders and your hand over my mouth.
I have a fairy garden, sort of, well not really, you see...they're little set-up keeps getting washed away by the rain... 0.o
After seeing your beautiful gardens (all safe with no flooding) I am inspired and will be fencing my little fairy kingdom in more securely this weekend and if that doesn't help with the flooding, it may end up being a mermaid garden...stay tuned for pictures! lol!

Callene, what a sweet gnome garden. I love it!
When the weather gets warmer, I will attempt to beautify the surroundings of that majestic ancient oak tree that's in my yard, that's where the fairies live!

Those are so cute. I have one that I set out on my foyer table. When my grandbabies get to come they are allowed to play with it. They love it and I find it arranged all different ways. They don't get to come often living in Virginia...:( Hope all are well and happy!! Smiles, Beth
I know, I know . . .we're talking about FAIRY gardens. But I couldn't resist sharing this pic of the garden gnome I bought. He's 12 inches tall and will not be part of my mini gardens. I have a little gnome and a little fairy for that . . . but I'm not showing you those before the gardens are built. :D (He doesn't have a name yet) CJ

CJ, love the gnome..he's so cute!! I guess I'm going to have to do a fairy garden. My daughter will have fun with that one. May even end up with a place for some gnomes. I have three boys and don't think fairies will go over with them. My daughter is a Frontier Girl and saw that they have a badge for fairies...think we'll have to incorporate a garden just for them. :) Yay!

Okay, I gave my gnome a name. He does look Scottish to me and will grace our "Reiver's Rest" . . . so his name is ALASDAIR. A fine Scottish name! (One definition I find is "defending men") CJ
