I made a banner with these same fabrics (pics in first Jubilee thread) and I'm going to do a giveaway of this apron.

If you want to enter the drawing go to the thread in "Across the Fence" to put your name in. Winner will be named on April 15th!

Bonnie, all the aprons are great. You & the girls did good. Yours is special with MJF fabric and Jubilee logo. I have always been a fan of rick-rack.

Ginny M, Welcome to all the Jubilee fun. Begins on Friday May 1 - May 6. The 6th is MaryJane's birthday. Fri, Sat, Sun & MJ's birthday will be the big days.

I'm wearing my clothespin apron those 6 days and flying one of my old aprons. I'm really not flying it ~~~ it will hang with sun bonnet at front door. My apron garden flag will be in frontyard flower bed.

HI Ginny! The "rules' to your Jubilee celebration are just what makes sense to you. Sara has outlined the general dates and after that, you can create your own fun. Let us know what you decide and post a photo of your apron here if you make one!

Thanks Sara & Winnie!

I am hoping to sew the offical cloths pin apron this weekend. I will see how it goes with my carpal tunnel. But I think I will have my daughter do the cutting of the fabric, I should be fine after that.
I will have to hold off celebrating the Jubilee on Saturday, May 2nd, as I will be helping to set up and host a belly dance show that day. It will be our 7th annual show! Whoo-hoo! But I will get back to celebrating on the other days for sure!I am thinking about a small get together with the other 2 ladies, that also set up and host this event, on Sunday to celebrate the Jubilee. They love it that I get MJ's magazine, as they like to borrow them! lol!
Oh, brilliant brain FLASH! At the belly dance show, we have all the groups and soloists donate a basket for a raffle, with the proceeds being divided between two different charities. The charities we donate to vary from year to year. My point? I am going to make the clothes pin apron gift set, and raffle it off at the show! Yep! That's what I'm going to do!

That's a novel way to celebrate Jubilee, a belly dance get together, I only did it once and failed miserably. I admire those who can. Have a blast!

Ginny, Love that idea of the apron raffle for charity!! That will be a great way to maybe introduce someone new to out MJF Sisterhood. Perhaps you can include a magazine with the apron and a little handwritten note with MaryJane's Homepage address where they can find out more about the Chatroom and Sisterhood. Have fun on your Sunday celebration with your two friends too. Take some photos and share with us so we can all enjoy!

I will do that Winnie!
Bonnie: I LOVE to belly dance, though it's not something you can learn in one night! Takes practice, practice, practice! I have been dancing for about 11yrs. And I'm not all THAT good at it. I just love to dance! It's especially gratifying when there's drums and a campfire! lol Love the feel of the Earth under my feet! Sigh!

Ginny: I wasn't making fun of your belly dancing at all. I love to dance too. I wish I could belly dance but I think this old bod won't try it.

I managed to find a sewing machine with some thread and a partial bobbin yesterday amid all the rubble of the remodel -- here's the result.

Love it Marilyn! How fun to do break away from the "remodel rubble" for a couple of hours and do something fun! :)

By now you all know about my problems with posting pictures. My niece was able to post a picture of my clothes pin apron when I submitted it for a Beginners Badge for making an apron. It was approved today. If you want to see my apron go to Merit Badge Awardees ~ pg 318.

Have a blessed day, Sara
