Found this in my weaving stash and cannot for the life of me figure out what it is. It's about 6 inches long.

It's marked:
Grant Hand Weaving Supplies
295 West 1st North
Provo, Utah

I'm curious to know.....

Thanks girls!

What a find!

I don't know what it is but can make some guesses. Because it's labeled 'hand weaving', perhaps it's a type of freestanding yarn/string holder? Maybe it's what the company sold yarn on? Maybe it was used for display?

What's funny is that you probably bought it and now have forgotten all about it. I do that ALL the time!

I bought a ton of weaving stuff last week from an executor of an elderly weaver/artists estate---she was 93. I stumbled across it along with some other weaving tools. My MIL is a weaver and she didn't know what it was either....

Whew! I'm glad you don't have the 'forgetting' disease like I do. (I'm sorry if my first post came off insulting, I was trying to be funny.)

I hope you find the answer to the mystery!

Searched the web for the weaving company before posting here and still had no luck.

I've never seen anything like it before. Hopefully, one of the gals will come up with the answer!
