Please add me to the list! My UFO list of just quilt projects is HUGE! Over 100 items from quilts to table runners to aprons to potholders to ... to ... etc. I've already finished several projects this year including 4 quilts and some aprons. This will be fun to see how people are doing. Thanks for starting this.

Wow! Once again, I've been gone way too long! Everyone has really been busy. What a talented bunch of ladies.

I did get the last 2 pair of shorts done for my GS.

I also finished carving my wooden spoon with a woodland spirit on the handle.

For those of you that do not carve. It starts out as a block. Then you cut a blank. I use a band saw for that. Then I carve the rest with a knife.

I'm not really good with faces yet, but am happy with how it turned out.

I've also finished my garden post for my herb garden.

Love your spoon, Theresa! And, that sign is so sweet! I am lucky to get a popsicle stick stuck in my plants this year.

I have managed to finish 9 Baprons (Bib/aprons) that I have had stacked up forever. The babes are about to outgrow them.

Thanks everyone! I really love carving. Am working on a Love Spoon right now, but it is a new project not an UFO.

Judith, Love the Bapron!

Just finished my jean apron that has been laying on the counter in my sewing room.

Woo hoo! Another one done. Now on to the recycled pet food bags.

I've made a lot of butt and front aprons, but have quite a few more to finish. Among all my other projects. I have about 10 quilts that need binding, a few more that need borders, some that need quilting, and a gargantuan quantity of quilts that need completely making. LOL! That's the larger projects. Can I post things I have finished in 2015 - even before I signed up on this thread?

My sister quilted the baby quilt top I had finished. I finished the binding at midnight Sunday, mailed it off tonight, hoping she gets while her family is in town for the fourth of July. Now on to another UFO...
Grace thanks for adding me to the list.
Judith the baprons are so cute. Where did you find the pattern?

I am at a quilt retreat this weekend - it started today today at 1 PM for me - and so far I've finished putting borders on 2 quilts, completed 5 microwave bowl potholders, and cut out 2 more microwave bowl potholders. Tomorrow I plan to put borders on 4 quilts, put binding on a quilt, make 4 men's surgical caps, and make 4 more microwave bowl potholders.

Wish me luck. LOL!

Nice t-shirt quilt, Erin. What did you use for backing and batting, if any.

Wow, more beautiful handcrafts from our talented Farmgirls! Carved spoons, recycled denim aprons, quilts , wooden signs and more. Everyone's projects are terrific and thanks for sharing and inspiring the rest of us to do the same. Photos are so much fun and really bring us all closer. I can't get over how artistic everyone is in their own way!!

Linda, I used an old blanket as batting, and sandwiched the front and back of the t-shirt around the old blanket squares. The tutorial I was following used a flannel sheet as batting, which would have been a lot thinner. I like how thick it is. It seems sturdy. Here's the link to the tutorial:

Linda,
I am jealous!! I have a quilt retreat in November. My sister and I went to over the winter, that was Downton Abbey inspired, you could work on what you wanted, not just the Downton Abbey stuff. Its always amazing how much you can get done when you have the time to just do what you love. The microwave potholders remind me one of the girls was working on the small bags with the metal measuring tape as the closure, and every couple of hours the measuring tape would escape the duct tape holding it together and unwind all over the place. She must have made about 20 or more of them. Now I'm just wanting to skip work and sew my clothespin apron which has been cut out since Sunday......
Have FUN!!!!
