Tammy, no worries,,, the nice thing about UFO's is there is no time frame.... :>)

Juanita, before you know it, you'll have a stash of 4" & 6" sq. ready to stitch together when you feel like it... a few here, a few there, and before you know it,,, you'll be looking for your 40% off coupon for the quilt batting! lol!

Marie,,, why yes I am!!! lololol!

The not so nice thing about UFOs is they seem to multiply before your eyes.

Wow, I didn't think I'd been gone that long... but from the looks of it I've been gone a long time.

Great Job everyone. Love what everyone is doing.

It has gotten to hot to work on the quilt so I put it up for a while. Back to other UFO's.

I finished 2 more aprons and a pair of shorts for my DGS.

I only have 2 or 3 more aprons to make and half dozen shorts. I think I have the material ready for at least 6 more pair of shorts.

Those aprons are adorable, especially the one with the chicken (but I think I am chicken happy). Shorts are cute too.

Juanita: We do strange things when we are grieving. Put the blocks in a pretty box and when you get around to it and feel like it they will be usable. God bless.

Erin, do you iron a stabilizer on the back of each tee shirt square before you sew? Do you sew the squares together or add strips of fabric between them? Just curious, I have done several, but they always turn out to be huge projects. A friend used the one I made from her husband's tees as a curtain over the sliding glass door in their tv room. I thought that was a novel idea, because he could enjoy it more that way.He had run marathons.

This was,,, sort of,,, a UFO, in that it has been sitting (in the way) in the garage for almost a year...
old portable typing table.... now a cute little portable table for my trailer...

still (in the way) in the garage until the 1st weekend in June when I go Glamping...

Then I painted a cheesy photo frame... and machine stitched up my trailer info,,, it will sit on the typing table so people will know what my trailer is,,,,

As much as I would like to work on some more UFO's I have some crocheting to catch up on... a little easy peasy DBL Crochet stitch baby afghan... Wish me Luck!

Wow you ladies are going to town! It feels so good to get things done. Just reading your posts motivates me. Theresa I love the aprons and shorts. Good luck Grace on your crocheting but I am so impressed with your glamping goodies. Erin your t-shirt quilt is well on its way. Juanita sounds like just cutting the squares will be therapeutic. I made 2 cards today and sewed on some yo-yos. I have been working on the yo-yo quilt for years. I am off to a very slow start. I have decided to do a little every day. Happy crafting Maryellen

Marilyn, I have never made a t-shirt quilt before... or any quilt really... lol, so I'm sort of hoping it will all turn out ok. I found a tutorial I'm using that has you cut up a flannel sheet and sandwich it using the front and back squares of the t-shirt. Sew a big X on it to hold it together. Once the squares are done, you sew it together to make a rag quilt. I have an old blanket I'm using instead of a sheet, and it's a little thicker, so I'm a little worried that it won't work. We'll see!

I just finished the baby afghan for a child of a teacher at the school who is now a year old. I have had the stitching done for a while. I had trouble getting all the ends sew into the weave. I used all my small balls of yarn so it has a variety of textures and different shades within the color strips.

I also took #6 off my list. I'm giving up on it.

Very cute afghan, Marie! I don't know how to do anything but basic knitting and crocheting. I wish I could make something fun like that. I finished sewing my quilt last night. Now I just have to snip all the edges and wash it. I'm almost done!

Here's the close up.

I gave it to the mom today and she was just speechless. I told her I didn't care if Herbie, her little boy dragged it around and chewed on it. I believe that is the best testament to a loved blanket.

Wow, Everyone is really chugging along.

I love the t shirt quilt idea Erin, and the aprons and shorts are adorable Theresa.

Grace, I just love the color you used on your typing table and adorable little sign.

Marie your afghan is so pretty and I am sure it will be well loved.

I haven't touched any of my projects in a while except a table runner I am stitching. Slow going and I don't have a craft area right now because the room I use has been turned into a guest room that will be occupied for quite some time. I keep thinking about a "She Shed" but I am afraid a snake or something will take up residence there and I hate snakes!

Love your crocheted blanket, Marie! Years ago, I made several ripple afghans. Now, for some reason, I just haven't been able to "get" it. Maybe, I am trying too hard!

Love the ripple stitch. My mother in law taught me the pattern years ago. I really should make another sometime. Love the colors in this one! I need to make something bright and cheerful!
