Sue I know what you mean! There was a thread on one of the boards about Indiana girls getting together sometime in February, but nothing ever came of it :( It's kind of a weird time, in the middle of winter, so maybe it just wasn't the best time of year. We're about 2 1/2 hours from each other, but I wouldn't be opposed to meeting sometime! :)

Thanks, CJ and Grace! I can tell this forum is going to help keep me motivated! I stumbled, though, and ***GASP*** started a new project...I know, I know. I needed something to decorate my front door, so I pulled a straw wreath form out of the attic, gathered up all the leftover Elmer's glue my kids don't need for school anymore (they're older now), and bought some split peas. I'm gluing them onto the wreath form to make a simple -- and cheap -- decoration for the front door. It's getting there...it's just so much gluing!
Erin, sounds great! It would be neat to meet sometime!

Can I join in. This may be just the incentive I need to finish a wall quilt I made years ago and never put the binding on. Of course I have other UFO's too. Love the projects I have seen here. Everyone is so talented. Don't you wish there was more time in each day. LOL Do we really have to sleep?

Unfortunately, I do need to sleep. I do get some of my best design and execution ideas in my dreams.

I have finished a UFO. YAY!
This is the bracelet I made for Jose Luis, one of my kids from last year.
I put a button on each side at the ends so that it will adjust as he grows.

ok, with the gloomy weather we had been having,,, I went into my stash or should I say Mountain of UFO's... and pulled out another lil mini quilt project... I don't even remember what I had planned to do/make ,... I had all the blocks stitched together and then had rolled it up and put it away... so doing what any good lil farm girl would do.. I re-thought and decided to cut it (disappearing-9) and re assemble it... and Voila' a sweet table runner for my trailer... I even found in my fabric stash enough B/W fabric to cut strips for the binding! Score!
Well one more done,, and yet it doesn't look like I even put a dent in my UFO's stash... oh well,,, such is life... >^..^<

Okay ladies, as some of you know...I'm trying to clean out my craft room and the piles of UFOS is a bit overwhelming, but yesterday my youngest daughter and I finished two projects.
These were finished by my daughter because she loved them. My mom sent them to me from her UFO stash of 30plus years and low and behold they are done! They were originally for my brother when he was really young...now my daughter gets to enjoy them.
This is a tie blanket that has been waiting it's turn to be done. Only for a year though! My daughter and I had been making tie blankets for our local Children's Hospital with our homeschool group because she wanted to give back from when she was in the hospital and received one 3 years ago. I also made some for my kids for Christmas and I wanted a blanket too...so it has been waiting for me and now I have one to snuggle with now! :)
What's up next? I'll have to go clean some more! :)

I made blankets, hats and pillows for my immediate family and some friends several years ago. They loved them. I have yet to make one for myself.

Creativity equals lots of UFO's.... lol! I no sooner get started on one project,,, when another one catches my eye,,, or I need to whip up a quick gift,,, Just when I start to make a dent in my UFO pile,,, I seem to find more set aside projects that are now headed to the UFO container... What's a crazy crafting Diva supposed to do??? snork, giggles...

I have not completed any UFO's... however I did get to work on one this weekend that I've been meaning to for a while. I had all of these t-shirts saved to make a t-shirt quilt, and I finally got to cut them! Progress!! :)
It's a start... still need to raid the house for flannel to start making the squares.

I have been making "tarn" out of old t-shirts that have been accumulating. I have a nice stash of tarn balls now! I also made a t-shirt bag out of one of the t-shirts to hold all the tarn in. :)
Next project: My daughter will be making a rag rug out of the tarn for her room.

OMG!!! I want to make a t-shirt quilt!!! ... but I had better stay focused on my UFO's at hand... although if I cut up a bunch and then purposely put them in my UFO stash, wait a week or two... does that make it a UFO??? heeheehee,,, just thinking outside the box... lol!

Hey Ladies.... I hit the wall on my crafts. Family drama and sickness. BUT, I am back at it. Still planning on finishing up as many non-completed projects as I can in 2015.
