Madeline,
I DID receive your package and absolutely LOVE it!!! Thank you so much!!! You did a wonderful job on the adorable clothespin bag! I'm so sorry, but we've all been sick here too. Your package is ready to ship out and will go out on Monday! I'm so sorry for not being able to mail it out sooner! It has truly been a rough winter around here. :(

Debi,
I am far from home, but my grandson opened and photographed your package for me. I love your adorable bag with the pin-wheels! That is so cute I can't wait to begin using it.
Also love the added goodies especially since I am a word-game addict. Thank you!

Connie your bag went in yesterday's mail. Sorry I was late getting it out. Started out making a clothespin apron and then realized it was to be a bag. With that and things going wrong with it, I think I made the bag twice. lol. Hope you will like it.

Thank You everyone for the complements. The plastic clothespins came from Vera Goldsmith. She was born in 1899. She passed away in 1997. She and I were great friends and neighbors even with the 50 year age difference. Can't believe it's been almost 18 years ago. The wooden ones were some of hers also. I like the design made by the spring on the side.
Glad you liked everything Connie.

Here's my laundry soap recipe Linda. Be ready, it makes a very huge batch. I store it in gallon pickle jars and use a vintage teacup to scoop it out. Makes me smile with every load of laundry.

1 box 20x mule team borax
1 box arm and hammer washing soda
1 box oxi-clean
3 bars zote soap, finely grated-I use my salad shooter to do this. You can use fels naphtha but I like the scent of zote.

Dump all boxes into a garbage bag lined 5 gallon bucket. Mix well. I use 2 or 3 tablespoons per load of laundry, it lasts a very long time and does a wonderful job getting our farm clothes clean. My daughter uses it with her 3 kids who all have sensitive skin and they have no problems with this laundry soap.

Joyce the ruffle on top of the laundry soap is just a large yo-yo with a button sewed to the middle. I always add them to any jar of goodies I gift. It just sits on the jar lid an put the ring over it to secure.

I received Jami's really cool clothespin bag: She even wrapped the hanger in matching lace! (Can't wait to post a picture as soon as I get camera back from grand daughter.) Thank you, Jami! I hope you will like yours.

Julie - thanks for the recipe - and idea with the yo-yo! Just curious - what type of oxi-clean are you talking about? Is there a powder kind? I only know of a spray-bottle kind. Also - where do you find zote soap? Thanks :)

Oxi-clean powder is in the laundry section. I find zote at Wal-mart and my grocery store. You can also order it online at amazon.
