Sara - Nellie Bly sounds delightful! I think when we get home I am going to decorate for Fall - something I have never done in the past, but am honestly looking forward to!!!!
Judy - as I watch my children grow up, I cringe at what they might experience and sadly know that they too will be saying "in the good ole days," yet it will be nowhere near as good as I remember, just as my good ole days are so far from my parents and grandparents! I was talking with Brad's grandparents today (all of mine are deceased),and I LOVE to hear about how "it use to be" and cannot help but wish it was still like that! On a different note, I absolutely adore your picture of the cows!!!!!!!! The momma almost looks like she is saying "you are close enough. take the picture and slowly back away." Just how a mother should be when it comes to her blessings <3

Shannon...we had the cows a couple years ago...and it was an "animal Kodak moment":):):)So happy you've decided to do a little Fall decorating and that you stopped by on the forum today:):):)Please stop by again soon!!!Love the picture Ms. Connie:):):)There is nothing in the world like having a sweet precious Granny!!!Unfortunately...my stepson is growing up without any grandparents...so sad to miss such a blessing...

Only a few more days of very warm temperatures here in Kentucky...it is very comfortable this evening as DH and I have been sitting on the porch...we are supposed to have really cool air come in by the weekend...Fall is definitely near:):):)

The windows here at my in-laws' house are open, with a cool breeze blowing the curtains, the crickets chirping, and a crispness that Fall is in the air :) I must admit - I love this time of year! I love the feel of freshness and life! I love the smell of crisp clean air. I love the sound of critters singing their joyous songs! I long to be able to put a blanket on the grass, lie down, and see the stars shining brightly overhead, and close my ears and hear nature all around me. God's creations are abundantly singing His praises!

Our 5 day weather forecast last night was, 92 for today and tomorrow, then cold front on Thursday high of 85 and then 77-79 for Friday, Saturday and Sunday! YIPIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Hi everyone!! I just arrived here outside of Washington DC to visit my sister and then down to
Norfolk to vist hubby's family. Here at Dulles airport it is cloudy and 74 degrees . Feels better than the 92 we've been having the last weeks in Fla. Hot here tomorrow. The cool weather arrives this weekend when we leave!#128545;

Feeling like fall today in Wisconsin- only a high of 58...chilly breezy cloudy. What a great day it would be to stay home from work and bake...perhaps this weekend. Enjoy the day!

Shannon - are you talking about the SD 8 inches? Can you imagine!
We're only in the lower 60's today. It was in the mid 80s yesterday then the wind and rain came and it never warmed up today. Definitely feels like fall today!
