Sara, I know what you mean! I feel the same way!!
Winnie, looking at those pics, we would never know it was hot outside, they just drew me in, and made me feel all cozy!! I love the fireplace! I need to try that!!
I did not get anything done! I will post a pic soon! I took a 3 hour much needed Nap!

Judy, that kitten photo is adorable! Kitties are cute anytime of year.

Danyel, making donuts is easier than you think. Mostly, it takes a little time cooking them up in batches, but they are so delicious hot and covered with cinnamon sugar. It makes for a fun weekend project when you have the time and have the people to eat them up. Paired with hot or cold apple cider, they are a true fall delight and everyone will enjoy your efforts!

Welcoming September with my apple and Chickadee flag. Soon they will be singing their song ... chick a dee dee dee ... love to hear them in the fall.
You can also see (just a glimpse)of my Sedum "Autumn Joy" starting to get a hint of red to them.

Beautiful flag Teri! Love the chickadees too. We have them all year around here in my yard and they are so fun to watch and listen to.

Judy, that kitty is darling!!

How about this quote for the day by Albert Camus:" Autumn is a second Spring, where every leaf is a flower."

I found this on the internet this weekend and thought I'd share it with you all. I'm not sure it's really a fall picture, but I think everyone will like it.

Here's a picture I took on my farm last fall - I might have posted it last year too, but I can't remember.

And one more:

Oops, I hit submit rather than preview :) Guess we'll just have to turn our heads sideways to see the pictures. I love the quote Winnie. Cute kitties Judy, are they yours? Pretty flag Teri. Are your sheep starting to get their winter coats? I noticed our cow's hair is starting to get longer - makes me think it's going to be an early cold winter. Well, I better get going it's milking time.

Heather, I love your farm photos that you shared! It feels like fall because of the hay bales and dried corn.

Connie, love the Susan Branch autumn garlands too!! She has so many cool things in her store! Your Autumn ribbon doll is pretty too!

Looks like Fall is coming no matter how stubborn the hot and steamy weather that persists down here!!

I thought since I love Fall so much, I would share some News I got today here on Judy's fall forum! I am going to be Granny Bear!(I picked out my name when I was in my twenties! LOL) in March 2015, to a baby girl! I am still in shock! My daughter, Holly turns 40 this year and we really just thought being a grandparent, was just not going to be something we would get to experience. It is a miracle!!
