We've had some inquiries from farmgirls about an address to send cards and letters of support. Brandy's daughter replied to me and she supplied us with an address to send mail to, and we would like to mention that she has established a fund to help them start over.

The link to the fund is: www.gofundme.com/7rsfgg

If you would like to send any letters here is the address:

Thank you,

~Brian

I just saw this post. I have been out of town last week to the death of my father last Monday. My prayers will go out to Brandy's family. My deepest sympathy goes out to the family. May God Bless and help heal.

I would like to apologize. I was just reading the new posts and reread mine. I felt bad when I read that I wrote Brandy had passed away. I believe in God, that he is a loving God, and that miracles happen every day. I've been praying for a miracle. And I read from the link Brian posted that one of the dogs was found. I hope I didn't hurt anyone with my words.

I just now found this post. I am new here at the forums and I saw another post directed to this but didn't know the rest of the story until now. How very sad for Brandy's family. My prayers and my heart go out to them.

Brian thank you for the address :)

UPDATE
I just heard on our local news in Cincinnati that Brandy's body has been found.
Cause of death was listed as blunt force trauma.
Prayers to this family continue.

I received an email from a farmgirl who was part of Brandy's chapter. It has a wonderful picture of Brandy and the rest of the group.

Hi Brian,

It was nice to chat with you today. I just wanted to share a picture of the quilt that we made for our farmgirl sister, Nancy, who was very sick at the time.

You helped Brandy so much by sending her the fabric so that we could do this for Nancy. I really want you and MaryJane to know how much we appreciated that. I'm just sorry that it has taken me so long (a year +) to get this email to you. Now neither Brandy nor Nancy are with us any longer, but we imagine that they are in heaven glamping together!! Both Brandy and Nancy loved everything about Farmgirl and our chapter.

Very Sincerely,

Lisa
P.S. Brandy is on the far right

What a sad reminder of the fragility of life! We never know if we have another day so such a message to share love with those we care for each day. I pray for the survivors and the dear ones they have lost and all those who are touched by this disaster.

I feel so sad that Brandy is gone but I'm glad they found her body. So sad, there was no time to say good-bye. Tears.

I hope finding her body gives her family some closure. Thinking of them. I read that the local bank had forgiven any mortgages on homes that were not covered by insurance for this tragedy. I had not seen the address for Brandy's family here, but I did find a number of charities (local) that you can send donations to on the internet. Some of them you have to notate that it is for the Oso Mudslide.
