Thank you for putting a face on the news report. I was already sad and in prayer for that area, but you have made that sadness personal. I will pray more earnestly. Despite all of the questions, God is still in control.

I'm so sorry to hear one of our farmgirls was lost in this tragedy. I'm praying too for all of the victims of this terrible mudslide.

I have been praying since I found out about the mudslide. It is such a tragic thing. My heart and prayers go out to all the family and friends and rescue workers.

Oh MaryJane, I am just seeing this now. I remember seeing this photo on Facebook and thinking how adorable and proud she looks in that photo. So heartbreaking to hear...please keep us all posted. I will keep Brandy and her family in my prayers.

As my other sisters have said, there really are No words at a time like this. Praying hard for everyone affected by this horrific mudslide. I only hope they can all feel the power of our prayers, and the comfort of God's arms wrapped around them.
I am so sad from all of the lost lives reported so far, and now reading that "one of our own" is among the missing, well, it's even more heartbreaking.

Just seeing this post now. I saw someone else pay tribute to her in another post, but until now, I had no idea how dear Brandy had passed away. How incredibly sad! I can't even imagine. Will be keeping her husband and loved ones in my prayers along with everyone else involved.
