I'm definitely feeling the "crunch time" for homemade gifts right now! One idea I had for guys was this recipe for Guinness BBQ sauce http://www.theblackpeppercorn.com/2012/03/guinness-bbq-sauce/ I would like to make it first and try it out though.
Last year for Christmas I copied something I found on pinterest for my husband. I gave him a date night preplanned and prepaid every month. I had all 12 envelopes tied together with twine. Every month had something different, and sometimes it was something free, but just an idea of something we could do together. I let him know when he opened it to be sure not to lose any envelopes since some had cash in them. He really liked it. It's a good idea for a hubby or significant other.
