Merry Christmas, Farmgirls!
I finally made a Reader's Digest Santa, just like the one made by my Nana so many years ago. My niece and my sister planned the craft during a family reunion.
I hope you'll click over and have a look. http://field-days.com/readers-digest-santa-claus
Who else has one???

Thanks! I'm so happy with him. I hope he'll become a treasured heirloom himself someday!

So cute- I haven't ever seen them either! But, how beautiful- every family should make one! What a treasure and a talent you have!

Thanks, all.
Santas and angels were really popular Reader's Digest crafts decades ago. It's fun to search them out on the internet. I have been so delighted to discover that the photo of my Nana's sweet Santa is the number one image on both Google and Bing when doing a search. Hers is such a treasure to me.
All throughout the year, the article about her Santa gets clicked on my blog daily! And in November and December it gets hit multiple times a day. Tickles me pink to think that all over America people are having a look at her sweet craft made with love all those years ago.
