how can you get anything done,,, with Bramble taking over?..lol!
I had my 2 lil kitties in my trailer with me as I hug and admired the new curtains over the bed and the door entry...
I probably would have gotten more done today but hubby and I took a 1 1/2 hour walk and then I fence chatted with a neighbor from down the road.. :>)

picture this,,, I was sitting on the fence rail, and cowboy Dave,,, our neighbor up the road came riding by with his horse, a sweet Paint named 'Precious'... so we just chatted about this & that... and trust me,,, cowboy Dave 'took the reins' when it came to talking! lolol!

Two doors over the bed now have their new look, with batik fabric and trim painted deep plum.

The "cubby" has been finished with new molding and the corner molding replaced.

Both of these are a great improvement over what they used to look like!!!
Cupboard doors were an unattractive woodgrain laminate and the cubby was "trimmed" with packing tape . . ugh!
More projects in the making . . stay tuned! Thanks for letting us share!

Made a sweet little, lightweight bulletin board and mounted it above one of the side windows. The little ATC was made for me by a farmgirl who knows my daughter and I are tent glampers . . . now we can add our little glamper trailer to the set up!

The bottom piece of fabric is the same batik print used elsewhere in the glamper. The other two are some that coordinate pretty well.

Rattan wall unit that is now mounted on the wall just to the left of the door in the Reiver's Rest. Needed something attractive there but wanted it to be useful. Used two matching silverplate tablespoons and two matching soup spoons to make hook hangers for it. Pounded out the bowls, made a screw hole in the tip of the bowl, bent them around and hung the unit. Glued vintage buttons on the screw heads since they aren't especially attractive. There were also some previously made screw holes in the wall which have been covered with ecru colored flat trim "daisies" (same as I used on the frig makeover)
By the way: the candle is battery operated and flickers like a real candle. I think it'll be a nice touch in the glamper.

Looking good CJ! Love what you are doing to your lil glamper. I am itchin to get out into my lil "cup and saucer" and spend time.
Isn't it so neat that when we glamped together at Robin's and then again at Kathy's that we were both dreaming of someday owning our own glamper, and now here we are not more than 6 months later and we both have our own glampers? So neat!!!!

My neighbor and friend, Lynne, went on a walk with me this afternoon and stopped by the "Reiver's Rest" for a visit. She's the one who went with me the day I wanted to check the trailer out so she saw it from the get-go. She said . . . "oh, very, very cute"! "Doesn't even look like it did to start with and such a bargain to boot". I was glad she was able to see it today, after a lot of the major stuff is done inside.

How about this wonderful gift from farmgirl Karla. She's in our Henhouse and we had a Valentine and Dishcloth swap. She went over the top with special gifts for the Reiver's Rest.
Took a photo of our glamper and came sooooo close with this embroidery design on some kitchen towels! And some Scottish thistles on the potholder! What a wonderful gift!

Makeover of the cover for the stove burners. Painted and decoupaged with fabric and trim to match the frig makeover, attached forks for handles and have an attractive stove cover that can be flipped over and used as a serving tray.

If you look at the pic I posted on page one dated November 5th, you can see the "black tub topknot" on top of the Reiver's Rest. That's a rubber tub weighted down with big rocks over the vent because the vent cover was missing.
Well, as of today, there is no longer a "black tub topknot" . . YAY!!!  I was able to finally get a new vent cover installed on her. Finding RV/trailer parts around here is pretty impossible so I ordered one online. And, there are sooooooo many different hinge configurations I was afraid it wouldn't work. But, I'm happy to say it DOES work and she has a new vent cover which also lets in more light!
