The "Reiver's Rest" will continue to sit in the yard (don't have a garage or building to put her in anyway) and look CUTE!
Hubby and I will be working on some of the little things that it needs through the winter.
Robin and I found some batik print fabric to use on the cupboard doors inside . . . I'll be working on that as well, with a little painting of some cupboard trim in the plum color. Stay tuned for pics!!! :D

I haven't been able to get anything else done in the "Reiver's Rest" since returning from Phoenix.
However, I did get the fabric washed and pieces cut and yesterday purchased some paint for painting the trim around the cupboard doors.
Tomorrow, I hope to get back out there . . . and it helps that our bitter cold weather is finally warming up a bit.
Here's hoping!

by Monday we are suppose to be in the upper 60's so I will open up my Scotty w/a Potty and maybe do a little puttering... :>)

Robin is here and we sat in Reiver's Rest together this afternoon . . . in person . . . for real! And we talked about how it looks and things yet to be done! I'm SOOOOOOOOOO PLEASED my glamping partner has now been able to actually SEE HER!!!
We'll visit out there again before Robin heads for Phoenix!

Decoupaged fabric, eyelet fabric and various laces with some daisy embellishments on the sheet metal panel front of the refrigerator. Did away with the awful yellow-gold front making it more fitting with our Scottish cottage/shabby chic theme.

At some point, when I find just the right trim, I probably will put trim around the door on the metal edges to dress it up a bit more.

Yup, Mod-Podge! On the metal surface, over the first layer of plain fabric, under all the lace pieces to adhere to surface below and then 2 coats over the top, making sure all edges were adhered and sealed.
Finished decoupaging fabric (the batik print) on the 2 sets of cupboard doors as well, and painting the trim with the plum paint. Waiting on hubby to cut some molding so I can put it around one set of doors to try to unify the look. Pics to come! :D
