Ooooo, oooo, pictures please CJ! I can not wait to see some pictures of your handiwork! I sure do wish we lived closer so that we could enjoy tea together. Alas, it will have to be virtual, until we can meet up at Robin's place again!
Hugs,

Here's a start . . . "Stage One" (keep in mind this trailer is only 10 ft. long)

. . this is the bed made into a daybed/settee. It is in the back of the trailer with a window in back and one on each side . . nice windows!

The front of the trailer with a counter, overhead shelf, (sink, stove, frig to the left . . storage beneath) There is a little fold-down table near the daybed

Bramble giving it a test . . I think she approves! :D

Thanks again!
This is only Stage One! Will wait until I can consult with my glamping partner, Robin, before embarking on Stage Two.

Oh CJ!!! I love it!!!! So very, very cool! Congrats farmsister! Wishing I could find a little gem like that. I am not having much luck in my area. I think maybe our wicked winters rot everything out? Not sure. We've been looking but nothing so far.

Hugs to you! Love the photo of Bramble!

Stage Two is to make some attractive changes to the eight cupboard doors and to completely cover the ugly yellow door on the refrigerator. Some other minor things.
In the meantime, a cup of tea, music, reading, journaling and hanging out with my Bramble are nice to do in the "Reiver's Rest".

The state patrol VIN inspector guy came by today for that part of the process so we can get going on the title, registration and licensing. He peeked in and gave his voice of approval . . . teasing me about all the "girlie stuff" we'll load into it. Made me smile!!. :D

I bet Robin can not WAIT to come enjoy her, or until you bring her to Robins place! So excited for you. You are just about our QUEEN of glamping, and giving us all ideas, so it's so fun to see you with your very own glamper!
Curious where you got the name of her? I like it, but would love to know the meaning behind it too!
Hugs my friend,

"reiver" is a Scottish name given to rowdy, raucous Scottish folk . . . the Armstrongs were known to be "reivers"! You'll probably be able to find info on the internet . . some of it not very complimentary!

Wanted it to be Armstrong-y and Scottish! And those reivers certainly needed to rest once in a while!

Thanks for your compliments!

Okay, so now envision standard sized bed pillows on either end of the daybed/settee (in front of the sage green ones) in solid deep plum!
I couldn't find pillow cases in the color I wanted, but I did (in a city 75 miles away) find solid deep plum fabric. So, I just purchased a couple more inexpensive bed pillows, made cases for them and added the PLUM to the combination. I REALLY LIKE IT!!!!

Oh CeeJay...
I am soooo loving what you are doing with RR and the fun you are having too!
Sometimes I take a kitty or two out to the trailers, and a sweet magazine, snuggle douwn and hidw and rest in my little 'playhouse on wheels'...

That basket of hankies?? Check back in a couple weeks to see what I'm doing with those hankies . . . not in a basket anymore! ;D

P.S. The beauty of this beauty is that it came to me in great condition and I didn't have to start by making lots of repairs and such.
We saw NO evidence of leaks when looking at it. Last Friday night we got lots of rain and after it was over I went out to check. . . still NO LEAKING!!!
There are some repairs that need to be done but nothing major and I don't plan to try to have it on the road until next spring anyway.

Unfortunately, with getting ready to go out of town for a week and other work, I've not been able to hang out in the Reiver's Rest for the past couple of days.
Hope I can get a bit of time out there tomorrow before we leave!

"Birdie" (my daughter and glamping partner) were able to chat some about our little glamper trailer. Bought some fabric to use for a project inside and talked about some other little things to do.
Most of all, I WAS ABLE TO BE WITH MY DAUGHTER! I'M GRATEFUL!!!!

Remember the pic of the little basket with the hankies in it? Well, I decided to make them into a "Hankie Bunting" for our glamper. It hangs over the back window in front of a lace valance over the daybed/settee.
I made the bunting in such a manner that the hankies are not cut up and, if desired, can be removed and be hankies again.

I also added two pillows, one on each end that are covered with the deep plum color . . . needed more of that color

Thanks for letting me share!
