Here is my photo for Fall.

My dog Mitzi has such a personality. I wanted to capture that and the contrast of her black fur against the golden leaves.

These were done in the mirror of my truck. My dad bought the truck when I got my license 15 years ago and it's been in the family. I have a Nikon D1X, these were done with my 55-200 lens and no flash. I did edit them a bit in Picasa for fun.

Here are some unedited pictures I took a couple weeks ago. Unfortunately there's not much "fall" left to take pictures of right now. It's already snowed and it's been so windy there's no leaves left. The crops are about all harvested too.

This was a storm coming that looked so great I had to stop milking the cows and go grab my camera.

Heather - I LOVE those photos with the sun in the foreground and that dramatic sky in the background.

Marie - Mitzi is so cute. I have a photo of Annie playing in a pile of leaves in the back yard, she likes to pick the acorns out and eat them.

Will try to post my autumn pic tonight or tomorrow.

I love Fall color photos. Fall means so much to me---not to mention my birthday is in November. So there ya go. I have probably a zillion Fall pic and here are a few of them. We have an apple orchard and they are beautiful with the Maple trees in the background. The Blueberry fields turn beautiful red. Josie and Bingo love playing in the leaves.

I like the picture with the apples set against the maple leaves. It is worthy of framing.

Lost my camera and only have my phone to take pictures so I don't know how often I will be able to post a picture. I did happen to have this picture of my backyard from a couple of weeks ago. Sorry it is so blurry!

We are having a late fall. Not much change in the scenery. Fall to us is the beginning of calving season. Here is a picture of our first calf of the season. Born about two weeks ago. In this picture he has found his legs, mama's milk and is down for a nap. He is about one hour old.

This is the South Fork River in Lincoln County North Carolina. The brick building across the river is the Laboratory Mill. It was one of the oldest cotton mills in North Carolina. It's been renovated and is now a historic events venue.

Love seeing all the photos from everyone.

Here is my autumn picture. Living in Florida we don't see the fall colors that is in other states. So this is my version of Autumn in Florida. The barn in the background is a play area my husband made for our cats to sleep and play in. The basket contains a harvest from our first garden as well as the watermelon. The pumpkins I purchased for pies and soups.

Heather,

If we're sticking to the list, this weeks challenge is "reflection".

Thank you mom! I'm still struggling to stay caught up, and I started this!!

Here's my fall photos - edited with either Picasa (the trees) or Photoshop (the pony)

I had a photoshoot with my pony recently. I love how fuzzy she gets in the fall.

This week is reflections - Anyone have something planned?

If you guys are interested in doing any editing on your photos Picasa from Google is free and super easy to use. Gimp, also from google, is free/open source and compares to photoshop. I have Gimp, Photoshop, and Picasa. I also use UFRaw because I shoot in Nikon's RAW format instead of JPEG (what most cameras shoot in).

My goal is to teach mom to edit and then I won't have to edit my own photos. LOL

So good to be back home!!

Reflections sounds hard! I might try to get something with a cow and a water tank, but I'm not sure it'll work.

Here is a 'reflections' photo from a wedding I shot last month.

There is a local lake mom and I went to shoot at last week, I have some interesting photos with reflections of the ducks in them. You can also do reflections in a window or a mirror.

This shot is on countertop. It may be photoshoped, but it doesn't look like it to me -

This shot has been photoshopped a bit, IMO - the photo is upside down -

You can also do 'reflections' in glasses or sunglasses.

So good to be back home!!
