We recently started getting our teas and essential oils from Mountain Rose Herbs.com. We were very impressed with the quality and pricing. They sent me a catalog and they also sell spices. Next time I order I'll be getting some Chili Powder and some other frequently used spices in my pantry. They are also organic.

Ruthie, I too use Mountain Rose Herbs products. Their herbs smell heavenly and are of excellent quality, and I love their White Peony tea. I mix it with strawberry leaves I buy there too and make iced sun tea with it.

Ruthie, do you have any Amish stores near you? If so, they are a great and inexpensive way to buy spices in bulk.

Ruthie, I put 2 T. white peony tea and 1 T. strawberry leaves in a six-cup carafe with a top (sometimes I'll throw in a little mint from my garden) and then put it outside on my front porch rail in the sun for about four hours. I strain out the tea leaves and put it in my fridge to chill. To me, it's a very sweet-tasting tea that doesn't need sugar. :)

Heehee. . .I obviously add some water to it, too! Six cups of purified water. ;)

I have used the San Franciso Herb Company for years. They have bulk spices, plus items for crafts.
